So..

I dropped 7 spots suddenly off the first page to number 14.

The only things I did last week was switch my main page on a WP site from the Autoblog feed to a static page. Now my Autoblog posts don't post to any main pages... They are there just not rolling on a main page.

I also did a link wheel/and a visible anchor link profile post I bought from fivver. I know only 150 or so of the xrumer profile links have been indexed so far so.. Im not sure if it could be that.

Do you think it was the switch to the static front page? I made the page with SEO presser and it's pretty well done as far as on page SEO. Seo presser gave it a 93% score.

sounds like its the switch, give it a couple of days, it might revert back

Forum profile backlinks suck big time. They caused me at 5 spots on my established site. Never blast directly with xrumer to your money site.

ya I think I learned my lesson. Any idea what I can do to offset this? I at least want to get back on the main page.

I wish I knew myself. Currently, I'm working on increasing other types of backlinks such as high pr blog comments. I'm also trying other anchor texts or no anchor text at all. The other thing I'm testing is link pyramids focusing on web 2.0 properties to my my money site. In any case, I'm seeing some improvement as one of my main keywords came back, but the other one is constantly dancing between 8 and 10. Most importantly, do NOT blast with article directories to your money site because that also can lead to major drops.
Good luck and PM me if you find a way that works better.

Don't blast many links straight to your money site. You should use as a 2nd tier backlink, if you know what I mean.

Ya like a link wheel in between?

Are xrumer blasts what most of the services sold at the buy/sell forum are?

on the buy/sell forum here? No I would say every area of computing is represented and if I recall there was a time they weren't accepting any more xrumer providers. I got the xrumer blast that hurt me from fiverr.com

Im starting to freak out a bit here..

So I just wake up an hour ago and sign on check the mail.. and I always check
Code:
http://sitemapdoc.com/Serp-Rank.aspx
To see where I am at rank wise..

I`m not showing up in the top 64 results for my keyword? WHAT? Have I been deindexed?

So I go and check google..log out of my account and I am showing at number 11 where I was yesterday.. first on 2nd page.
This one is showing me at number 13 & 14
Code:
http://seoserp.com/google_page_rank/1000_SERP.asp

Does this mean I am about to be deindexed and it just has not hit some data centers yet? GRRRRRRRR

I logged into my Webmaster tools yesterday and found this dated May 18th. I guess that 3 way link network I was on did it?

Yeah a 3 way network would qualify as a "link scheme".

xrumer/sb blasts don't hurt you, at worst the links get discredited. Otherwise I would have 6 machines sitting on my floor here mowing down competitors across 50 niches 24/7. Google penalizes for on-page activity, in this case it was a link scheme. Also make sure that front page with a 92% SEOPressor score doesn't have too high of a keyword density. SEOPressor is not the end-all be-all gospel for on-page SEO. It only counts exact-match keyphrases, and doesn't see content outside of the actual post. If you have more than a few partial key phrases, or keywords outside of the post content you can get deindexed for keyword stuffing real quick.

For future reference... Always make one change at a time when you're not sure of the results it will bring. This way you'll know for sure what change did what.

Thanks guys.. the weird thing is I was still showing at number 11 for my main keyword so how many spots were they ripping me? 5? I deleted the link network and resubmitted. I said something like " I am sorry I have now made sure all my links are NOFOLLOW" Maybe they will take pity on a fool and make me number 1? We shall see.

Let us know how this turns out. I'm interested in whether the reconsideration process can remove a penalty and whether you can get all the way back to where you were.

Still showing at number 11.

So.. what to do now? Keep pounding the site with links? Back off? What would you do?

We've received a request from a site owner to reconsider how we index the following site: http://myfuckingsite.com
We'll review the site. If we find that it's no longer in violation of our Webmaster Guidelines, we'll reconsider our indexing of the site. Please allow several weeks for the reconsideration request. We do review all requests, but unfortunately we can't reply individually to each request.

I'm assuming that the reconsideration is an actual manual review, so since someone will be looking at your site for suspicious linking activity, I would personally not create links for a few days, just until they can have a look. But that's just me. I've never been in this situation so I don't know.

Mother fucker..

In order to preserve the quality of our search engine, pages from hhttp://myfuckingsite.com ay not appear or may not rank as highly in Google's search results, or may otherwise be considered to be less trustworthy than sites which follow the quality guidelines. If you wish to be reconsidered again, please correct or remove all pages that are outside our quality guidelines. When such changes have been made, please visit https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration?hl=en and resubmit your site for reconsideration. Thanks for sharing your experience. For sites are not included in webmaster tool, can Google applies this penalty too?
