Kupo's $6000 campaign

Hey, good luck man,
btw, what is "kupo"?

Kupo is a brand of very delicious nuts, that when eaten, imbues the user with the ability to perform great feats of strength.

KUPO you said
"Kupo, I've long past completed the staircasing approach. I'm using the success of my past and current profit-generating websites (white hat) to fund this campaign (my first blackhat backlinking campaign). So I have enough capital that's constantly being renewed to back me up. 6000 gil is nothing to Kupo, kupo."

but on your Original post you stated that

"Kupo, I'm starting a new campaign of 6 new websites. Each website is a 3-keyword EMD (exact match domain) or near-EMD (with hyphens or with an extra word). I've been doing a lot of reading and feel that I have read enough to finally take action. Here's my strategy, kupo:"

YOU ARE CONTRADICTING YOURSELF.....

AND
you stated

All sites will be on different IPs and I've decided not to include their sitemaps in my Google Webmasters Tools account. So I don't see how it is possible for big G to de-index all my sites at once.

GOOGLE does not need to see them on the same ip to de index them all... since you are doing basically the SAME to each one. That is why i recommended the staircase approach.

I don't see how that contradicts anything, kupo. I mean "finally take action" as in finally take action to try out blackhat SEO methods (my previous sites used all white hat SEO methods and link-building). I have around 500 keywords done, working on the last 100 now.

Hey, thanks for the explanation, but when you say kupo at the beginning of each sentence, what does that mean?

Domains registered and hosting set up, customizing the templates and working on the designs now.

Hey, thanks for the explanation, but when you say kupo at the beginning of each sentence, what does that mean?

It means I'm all out of kupo nuts, kupo.

@ W3althy: I'd like to add that both Google's Keyword Tool and Wordtracker can be erroneous at times, however. Just a little caveat emptor, kupo.

I once spent a few thousand gil building backlinks to a keyword that showed HUGE amounts of traffic and non-existent competition on Google's Keyword Tool, but showed EXTREMELY LOW traffic on Wordtracker. Kupo, when I finally got to rank #1 on the first page, Wordtracker was right and GWT was wrong.

Vice versa, I once spent hundreds of gil building backlinks to a keyword that showed very high amounts of traffic on Wordtracker, but PITIFUL amounts of traffic on GWT. Turned out this time GWT was right and Wordtracker was wrong.

I now use both GWT as well as Wordtracker when researching my keywords, and I always make sure the keyword ranks high on both tools before building backlinks to them.

Oops, I mean GKT (Google's Keyword Tool) instead of GWT (Google Webmaster Tools). Too late to edit.

I'd like to expand on this too: last night I found a keyword that had 25,000 global monthly searches in GKT, but returned absolutely zero results in Wordtracker.

To confirm Wordtracker was right, I typed the 3-word keyword phrase into Firefox's search bar (upper-right hand corner of the browser). Then I typed " a" after the keyword, then pressed backspace, then typed " b", then pressed backspace, then typed " c", then pressed backspace, etc like this:

your keyword phrase a

your keyword phrase b

your keyword phrase c

your keyword phrase d

your keyword phrase e

your keyword phrase f

your keyword phrase g

your keyword phrase h

your keyword phrase i

your keyword phrase j

your keyword phrase k

your keyword phrase l

your keyword phrase m

your keyword phrase n

your keyword phrase o

your keyword phrase p

your keyword phrase q

your keyword phrase r

your keyword phrase s

your keyword phrase t

your keyword phrase u

your keyword phrase v

your keyword phrase w

your keyword phrase x

your keyword phrase y

your keyword phrase z

And Wordtracker found absolutely zero long tail keywords for the keyword phrase. So this just confirmed that Wordtracker was a lot more accurate in this case than Google's Keyword Tool.

Anyway, performing this simple technique will show all the long tail versions of your keyword that people are searching for (in the automatically generated drop-down list).

Here's an example:

your keyword phrase f

your keyword phrase for men

your keyword phrase for women

your keyword phrase for children

your keyword phrase for pets

your keyword phrase p

your keyword phrase products

your keyword phrase pictures

your keyword phrase profitable

your keyword phrase pork

If you're getting a lot of long tail keywords, you know your keyword is highly searched for. If you're getting little to no long tail keywords at all, then this means your keyword has very little traffic and the GKT result for this keyword is defective/erroneous.

Neither Google's Keyword Tool nor Market Samurai has a function similar to the above technique to check for the numerous long tail variations that people are searching for.

I remember trying the long tail keyword research method (SEOT min. 10) with Market Samurai using a 15,000 monthly global searches keyword (from GKT), and Market Samurai returned only 3 long tail results. I checked "Only show ideas closely related to my search terms" in GKT, and GKT only returned 5 long tail results. I used Firefox's search bar method above and Firefox returned 110-120 total long tail results.

I was laughing my arse out on "kupo" so I decided to google it and there's a defination of kupo over at urbandictionary and why this guy keeps kupo-ing, kupo

OFF TOPIC:

why do you keep on throwing your name "kupo" all over the place.
Example :
you answered "Kupo, not just to put Clickbank banners -- no."
and
you stated "One of my websites with a scanty 50 unique visitors per day is making 400-500 gil per month doing that, kupo."

What is up with that....? or am I missing something....

Not only like you are talking in third person.....
but it almost feels like you are keyword stuffing the forum....

Agreed, so annoying...

$6,000 invested into your first campaign? Money may come easy to you, but we are trying to save you money. You likely need neither 100 articles per site nor $10/article writers. If your reason for this thread is simply a diary, that's fine. If you're looking for help to improve your efficiency the I'd suggest entertaining ideas provided to you by experienced black hats.

Black hat tools work well. The reason people get deindexed? They don't know what they're doing and they deindex themselves basically.

Kupo, I just found out that the #1 ranking Google spot for one of my primary keywords from this campaign has a YSE count of only around 200 backlinks, and they consist almost entirely of Xrumer profile blasts. And his domain is only PR1. I guess I'll just have to out-blast him. If I don't get results by day 70 for this domain, I'll be blasting it with Xrumer as well.

Kupo

Great thread! I like your humor, and your planning.
Will watch the progress.

In my experience, if you spam a new site only with SB it will show a good jump for 3-4 weeks and then gets sandboxed.

Wouldn't be better to build a pyramid?

your site

high pr profiles or web 2.0

SB blogs and xrumer forums spam to these profiles to feed link juice

RSS these through linklicious so they get indexed

Same here, went for "strategic game" keyword, turns out google fixes the search automatically to "strategy game", also "strategy game" and "strategy games" show exactly same volume of visits, yet they are very different in reality.

lol, just found out the meaning of Kupo, made my day, lol

Nice Going OP, Subscribed!

Interesting case study. I would do more diverse links though. Maybe throw in some social bookmarks and some profiles as well as web 2.0s would not hurt either.

CURRENT DAY: 5

Okay, DAY 1-2 and DAY 3 completed. Just waiting for my writers to finish writing the first batch of articles now.

Interesting case study. I would do more diverse links though. Maybe throw in some social bookmarks and some profiles as well as web 2.0s would not hurt either.

I may instead only directly blast websites #1 - #4 -- while linkpushing websites #5 - #6, then Scrapebox blasting the linkpushes.

That way I get to test the best of both worlds.

Or just go with my original plan and directly blast all websites.

What do you think?

I would choose to do the split test. That way you not only have gained knowledge of what kind of backlinking works and doesn't work. But you also lower your time invested in a figuring out a linking system that does work. Time is your most valuable commodity.

Don't konw if its good or not, but it wont work on most of us who have 10bucks initiation cash!

Hey kupo, how are things? it's been 6 days you haven't updated.

damn thats a lot of articles. goodluck following

I can not but appreciate your strategy. If you will do according to your strategy, you must be benefited very soon. But be careful, you need to be more active to apply your strategy.

Hey Kupo thanks for the case study.

I'm doing linkpushing myself. To early to see any results for me though as I'm going slow to see how well it works. I think using SB blast for your tier 2 and 3 may help but I'm always careful about a blast to actual money site unless you don't care about sandbox. Do you have SB your self or are you using a service for the blasts? If a service which one?
