Hello,

Just made my site to rank no.1 for a iphone term.
competition = 33 million.
had to beat urls like amazon zagg zazzle and case mate to be no.1.

time taken = 2 months.
money spent around = $300usd.

** Always remember to show some variety in your anchor text.

here is what i did,
1st step,
bought a bookmark service from krishananda,
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...ocial-bookmark-service-8-125-submissions.html

Cost: $10

Bookmark is the 1st essential step to get google to index your site.

2nd step,
i used seo spyglass to get HIGH PR PAGE blog commenting links.
will take time and some amount of work.
tried outsourcing but results were bad. so i did it myself.
about 100 links from various domains.
PR ranges from PR1 - PR 6.
This PR is for actual page where my comment and anchor text is.

This list is scraped by myself. not bought. so i was not willing to share it with anyone.

scraping such a list is not tough just play with seo spyglass and you will be able to get it. Reverse Engineering.

Cost: Time :( Most Expensive.

3rd step,
bought a press release,
this is a service from WSO.
very well done.

Cost: $40.

4th Step,
bought profile links from secondeye.
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...300-backlinks-ping-bookmark-15-reviewnow.html

He is the man to go after if you want profile links.

Cost: $65

5th Step,
bought a blog spam service.
I DON'T RECOMMEND SUCH SERVICE.
No gain in serps and both yahoo & google didn't count the links.
Waste of money and time. :(

Cost: $40.

** I don't want to name the person. But yes service was bought from BHW.

6th Step,
Bought 2nd tier xrumer profile links for 1st tier links like profile links created by secondeye.

Cost: $20 for 10,000 profile links. 3500 links report.

7th step,
signed up for linklicious.me
i just keep copy all the links and paste it and get it pinged and spidered.
dead simple but effective.

cost: $15/month.

8th step,
one of my competition link was backlinking using forum posts.
this time instead of buying a xrumer blast.
what i did was, grab the backlinks from forums.

and then, i got a Bangladeshi to create accouts for me.
so what i did after that was, just log in to various forum each day and left my link in his forum posts. :)

This boosted my rankings. As the posts were indexed, the links were picked up very quickly.

Cost: $10/100 accounts sign up.

Lastly, i used a multi tier link service from internalsoul,
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-service-unleashed-dominate-google-today.html

have not received the report. work is going on. but this kind of service give extra diversity to your links. :)

Cost: $90USD. Silver package.

So the key to success is,

have different types of backlinks
have different anchor text.
have a mix of do---follow and no---follow.
you no need to have KEYWORD MATCH domain.
instead try to have a related url for your landing page,

like
xyz.com/iphone-apps.html

For onpage seo, i used ibl, internet business promoter.
it gives suggests simple changes which will help.

remember, onpage and offpage seo is important.
concentrate on your meta tags.
also, do internal page linking as well. But only on related pages.
Make it contextual. make the link appear within a paragraph.

I think that's about it.

i created this thread to help you as well as help myself to remember the process.

BTW, this is not a sure win strategy.
but, if i can rank no.1 for a rather tough keyword, then it should easily get you to number 1 for any lesser competitive keyword.

Regards
Sha

Nice work. Persistence and organization pay off! :D

Thanks man, some interesting info and congrats on your success.

Always appreciate when a member shares his methods. I am in the middle of getting top 10 ranking for a high comp keyword myself.

I want to share some of my own activities, tell me what you think! :

I am interested about what you said about "varying anchor text". That is what I do. 80% of my anchor text is the keyword I am trying to rank for and the remaining anchor text is the second keyword i want to rank for.

I have been basically analyzing the top 10 rankings for my keyword and seeing where they get their backlinks and just get the same as theirs... if i can. Thankfully most of them are free directories which I have been doing manually although it hurts to have all these recip links on my pages :-(.

I recently had an xrumer blast which posted my link to ~210 forum profiles with main keyword as anchor text. I have pinged them but they are not indexed yet but its only been a few days.

I was always worried about how a lot of my backlinks are nofollow but you mentioned that it is best to have a mix, which is relieving.

My ranking has been steadily increasing but there has been a lot of google dancing.

So only time will tell if I get to the top...

when i said varying anchor text,
there is no forumla for it.
try to use your primary keyword MOST of the time, followe by secondary and then use some other related long tail keywords as your anchor text as well.

i see that you are reverse engineering. good. but don't just go after every link.
so links are worthless. you should know how to filter them out so that you save your time.

yes. and google dance is a good thg. this means that you are climbing up the rankings.

Hi!
Very interesting thread.
What is the age of your domain?
Thanks!

Wow that's amazing, would you recommend me purchasing all these services at once? Or would that risk sandbox? How often did you buy services..

Once every 3 days? Just curious so I don't fall into Googles radar

I didn't buy the services all at a time.
i took my time and bought one service after another.
continuous link building is better than building 1000 links in just 1 day and not doing anythg else later.

7 months.
and i started seo-ing the page 2 months back.
and domain age doesn't really play a part.
backlinks and on page is the real factor.

This is great, thanks for sharing :) do you know when you reached page one (not position 1, but page one)? Like at what point?

Would you, looking back, reorder this differently? I.e. would you perhaps use the link pyramids first or anything like that? Which gave you the biggest boost in SERPs?

Great post - always cool to see what's working for other people.

I reached yesterday. It took me about 2 months. Lesser than 2 months.
about 7.5 weeks.

No. I don't intend to re-order. But i will mix thgs up depending on the competition.

biggest boost, it is hard to say, from no ranking to position 36 might seem the biggest jump.
but for me, jumping from position 5 to position 1 is even greater.
even tho it is just 4 positions, the difficulty is there. get what i mean?

yes. and i learnt that instead of just blasting links only one day, it is better to add few links every few days once.

I can confirm this strategy work. I only used 2 types of backlinks, AMR and high pr, d-follow blog commenting I have around 10 PR5+ blog comments and now rank #5 for a 71k/month exact kw.

I should try bookmarking and forum links also to get higher rank.

PS: result achieved after 1 month

Now, are any of these "blog links", and "forum links" actually on "niche"? I hear a lot of people saying, stay with blogs that are close to ur niche...

try forum links - regular interval. Manual way. not a xrumer blast.
it will help you.

Great work! Link diversity really has become more important.

actually there is a reason for it.
coz when you get a link related to niche, the H1 tags on the link page and the url and content tend to match and this gives the link some relevance.
it works. but it is not necessary. if you are in a new niche. there just not might be enuff niche links to go after. in that case, just go after links available.

Great work! Link diversity really has become more important.

yes. it has become more impt.
also try to ignore garbage links especially after the farmer panda google algo update.

Really great method and I'm glad it worked out so well for you but it is way too expensive for me. Thanks for sharing anyways.

Good thing about his method is that....you can finish all those tasks he bought your self, thats if.. you know how to do it. So it really isn't expensive.

Anyways, great job shapsp.

Yes. all that can be done yaself. if you know how to do it.
i outsourced, coz i am quite lazy and i can never do so much of repetitive work.
but that said, i did all kinds of thgs manually, when i din have much to spend. :)

majulah singapura. Good job bro. How ar u monetizing the site btw?
