paypal hack trick, does it still work?

there was once a hack that worked for Paypal but I can't find it in the forum anymore and I was wondering if there were still any hacks that worked for finding courses being sold via paypal.

I'm trying to locate a course that's going to be taken down from ebay in the next day or so and I haven't seen it shared

one trick I've been using is to ascii decode paypal form and locate the "return" url -usually this was bringing to the download page...
Even earlier versions of the "$7 script" were exploitable.

this was working if paypal buttons were encrypted on the client side...

Today mostly paypal buttons don't require encryption anymore - because paypal nowadays keeps the "return" url on its server.

The one you are looking for is the firefox tamper data plugin. You amend the payment to 1p before you click the download link. Pretty easy stuff.

Tell you what download the tamper data plugin for firefox.

Find a product you want to purchase that is an electronic downloan. Get as far as the payment screen. Before you do this run tamper data. You will see a value relating to the price of the product. Change this to 1cent or 1pence,depening on the currency. Then click purchase, you will pay 1p for the product. Simple as.

Before you are quick to commment, make sure you do your homework.

Actually they are cause this trick still works; however, you usually won't receive whatever product you are buying unless it redirects you to a d/l link after you pay. Lately however, there are probably like 1 in a million merchants that do that.

It still works You just have to look for the products that give you a free trail
tampa data it and change the trail from 7days free to 3 years etc..
