Most comments will not be found. You will literally have to scrape thousands upon thousands of blogs to finally create a list that will actually be "found"

I have a personal list that took me an entire day to build. I haven't used it yet but its sitting there waiting to be used on other projects of mine. I crawled around the internet picking up premade lists. I then went through, blasted all of them, then put them through the link checker. Whichever links were found I exported and added to a big list.

The best lists had 25% success at being found, usually I was very pleased with 10%. So, if you managed to even get a 10% success at being found, to make a list 1,000 blogs deep you would need to post to 10,000 blogs. I'm serious. And that is good in my experience.

Most of the blogs you found either; a) have moderation systems or b) comments were turned off because of so much spam.

When scrapebox says "success" or whatever, it doesn't mean the link is actually there, just that the program thinks it is there. That is wrong 90-99% of the time in my experience, LOL.

You are going to have to trawl though tens of thousands of blogs. Again, this is not for the light hearted. When you're blasting away if any are found make sure to add it to another list for future reference!

Tips

  • Use private proxies. I use 10. It works great. Your success rate will double at least. Public proxies are awful for scrapebox.
  • Get rid of duplicate domains. In the quest to find spammable blogs, if one page on a domain has comments closed so will they all. So in your list, get rid of them. This usually gets rid of most of your list.
  • Only blast in lots of 2,000. This is at least what worked for me; anymore and I risked overkilling my connection.
  • Any blogs you do find on your own that you can spam will be spammed to death. We're talking 15k+ spam posts, so keep that in mind.
There! Hope this helps :)

scrapebox doesn't "think" anything. Success means it posted to the forum or blog. If the blog is moderated, the comment wont appear there unless the moderator approves it... which wont happen if youre using sb.

the "links found" are usually on autoapprove forums -aka no moderation.

you can also use scrapebox for trackbacks. these are good because they avoid the comment box which might not be on a blog if comments are closed, but still autoappproves trackbacks. there could be no comments but only ur trackback or a few dozen trackbacks so its much better than a link on an autoapprove blog with 1000s of comments.

what is a trackback?

One other little point...

If you test for autoapproves using a fictitious url, don't forget that the fictitious url won't (yet) be banned by akismet, (your 'real' url may alsoready be blocked).

Not sure how long it takes for akisment to pick up and block... anyone know?

I'd suggest to use good public proxies for harvesting and good private proxies for posting, otherwise you may burn your private proxies if you do a lot of scraping.

eeha123, I am getting about a 40% "success" rate according to SB using a 50k AA list.

But when I run the "check links" I only find about 800 - 1000 comments (1.6% to 2%) that went live. And that is using public proxies when I blast.

Commenter is an option of SB.... Generally I use SB to found good High PR pages that are do follow ;) and after I manually commenting on them ehehehhe

Hey movieman - do yourself a favour and get some better proxies. For an AA list, those results are rubbish.

Unr3al has a private proxy thread on here for anonymous proxies. Check it out. If you can't afford private proxies, get onto fiverr and grab some shared proxies from mazgalica.
Seriously, proxies are a game changer.
(either that or you got screwed on your list!)
