Well, Onsite seo is very important, and h1 tags are one of the most important parts of onsite seo. There is not a while lot of explaining to do mate, There is hundreds of articles out there explaining
When I started, I just excepted that having a good h1 was just part of the game.
Bottom line: It is important.

I would have answered had I not seen in a thread called "Generate 2 SEO reports get paid $20" you said "I can do this". How could you do an SEO report without knowing what the importance of a h1 tag is?

1.H1 tags are mostly used Imporatant words ,like for Heading of the Posts, Or a Main point
2.It should not contain links for best SEO
3.If you put h1 tags all over the post you can get Good SEO but can be kicked in arse by Google too.
4.Every Page must contain 1 or max 2 H1 tags So that Search engines know what the page is about.
