Gas Prices

1,6 EUROS for gasoline, diesel little less....Italy

Only $1.10 per liter here in New York. I drive a Jeep with 4.7 liter engine, but I still shouldn't complain...lol

$1.40 per liter here in Vancouver, Canada. Too damn high if you ask me.

USA has it pretty good it's really low there, people from here go down there to fill up.

And we have loads of our own oil!

Just be happy that you are able to pass on a healthy economy to your next generation :)

Norway is one of the few countries that just don't "burn" their oil money on stupid investments, but actually save them for the future.

You shouldnt complain at all, Gas in europe is atleast double if not triple in some places. Lets enjoy while we can :P

Yea, but in Europe, most cars are not only more efficient, but everything is usually closer together with plenty of public transportation options. It is not comparable.

Thats true, but we have crappy roads and we pay to high and many taxes.

Not sure how it is in other countries but i pay 36% of my monthly salary from my job.

we pay 25% tax on everything we buy.
Every year i pay 663$ extra in "road tax" because i drive an Turbo diesel.
At this moment we have a very good residential rate i think it is in english. It is aprox 3.5% But we are afraid it will go up to 16%

Got a little off topic here..

My dad did call me few days ago from Libya (I went out) and gas price was $4.19 per Litre!, which means $251.63 for 60 litres.
