Yes, there is an integrated speed and integrity checker, but when the results of this are transcribed to the real world, and I actually try to use the proxies, they are: a)invariably slow b)always short-lived.

Frequency, I am not necessarily dissing your software, but wouldn't even you admit that public proxies are always going to have their limitations? If this wasn't true, why would there be a need for private proxies?

Yes, the software works, but I think it should be made clear that if you're expecting to use the software, and then surf merrily for the rest of the day, posting CL ads as you go, it ain't gonna happen. I would be delighted to say otherwise but that would not be true - not in my experience anyway.

Exactly. There are some files i was trying to get from alexa.com.

First of all, finding a proxy that doesnt timeout or return a page not found is a feat in itself. The best one i found was out of Brazil 137.x.x.x and that took me at least 2 hrs to find. Shortly thereafter when trying to use it again it just timed out all over the place and was unusable after awhile.

All the rest of the proxies are a joke no matter what settings you select in proxymachine. Good luck if you can find one that actually works. When it seems like it may work, clicking on the next page on a search just brings up a PAGE NOT FOUND. Other times, you can click on the link but when you try to click on a download link it timesout or says PAGE NOT FOUND.

Dont know what to say, but the proxy list doesn't work too well and without that the software is useless.

Why is it you've never tried to contact us before about this? We have free tech support and free updates available to all of our customers. Why is it that there's tons of customers reporting success? "Any settings" is not proper settings.

Even though you didn't ask nicely, here still is my advice:

Harvest 25 or so pages of proxies. Start in the middle of the harvested list and start checking.

3000ms
Sockets: 10

Check 10 at a time and I guarantee dozens of working, fast proxies.

I'll even make a video if you want showing you that I can harvest, check, and use many proxies from the Proxy Machine consecutively with success and speed.

I don't know, Frequency, surely you are better placed yourself to answer this question? And while you're at it, perhaps you could explain why there are others like me who are clearly reporting LACK of success?

And from that you automatically assume that everyone else can do the same? I am not a code writer, but even I know that it is naieve to expect every piece of software to work in exactly the same way for everybody, regardless of geographical location, hardware spec, type of connection. OS etc.

Good software developers actually listen to their clients and the problems they are having, and try to resolve their problems, as opposed to preaching to them and telling them they're wrong.

Look, I always call it as I see it. The software doesn't produce the results that I want. Would you prefer me to lie about that?

I know how to register files but I dont even see a kewlbuttonz file in there. I'm getting this error on two different machines. Anyone else having this problem? I need some support.

Alright, i will give that a try. See what happens. Anyway, its not your fault but since the proxies rely on the software it does make it very frustrating when it cant be used.

Thats because there is a file missing from your zip file. You need to ask them for the missing file. Im surprised, its been mentioned here before and i also had this problem. Why is this file still missing from the archive?

I am using version 2.2 and it works great. I am on a Vista machine if anyone is wondering. The big secret to getting it to work is to read the file called "Instructions" first. Funny how it walks you through everything exactly. You will have some proxies that won't work due to the nature of proxies, but just go on to the next. Seriously.

Have used it successfully many a time but yesterday and today, I'm having the same problem.

For whatever reason, whenever I hit "Go", all it does is displays the text below.

DefaultSorted:,by,coun (and the rest is unreadable).

Looks like it's displaying something from the programming language and not any proxies. What's going on here?
