Actually that is not remotely accurate in business. I've owned a bunch of businesses and have made a lot of money from some of them, by a lot of money I mean millions, and every business I have owned, we have made mistakes and affected clients negatively.

What you do is fix the error by going above and beyond even if you lose money because that is how you operate a sustaining business.

Fry once and that is enough is very short sighted.. take the above advice if you are going to be in business and you will be successful.

I feel somewhat responsible in this particular situation because the I recommended that the OP use Cyrus for his site and he took that recommendation and ran with it.

I've done business with Cyrus myself and I know he can produce a nice looking SEO optimized web site... I also know some of what is going on in his life personally.

I'd be thrilled to see this end up with the OP getting his site as he requested and Cyrus coming out clean in the process as that would lift some weight off of my back.

Ya i took your recommendation and ran with it..which i hope isnt to say that i didnt do my due diligence...(im not accusing you if your not, i know some people have said something to that effect in this thread)

I asked for examples for current projects, past projects, also when i first got here, the whole community, seemed to value your advice, so yes while even doing my due diligence Msg to Msg with someone, it is also possible (like what i did) to Vicariously investigate someone too.

Your respected on the forums, so Respected people Refer to Other respected people they know..

I know and I appreciate that but I did make the recommendation and that is most certainly on me.

Part of what makes a man a man is to admit he did what he did and although I would never have thought that this would have become a bad deal, I still made the recommendation.

If I was still living in C'Water, I'd hit you up and at least buy you a beer for the problems you are having with Cyrus.

I don't know why it matters to you why I have a phone and don't use it much but I really don't have much of a need which is why I use it so rarely.

I've read all the thread and it's interesting that you have that much time to post around , when you defend him, when you blame him and so on..

grasp, i was saying, if you pay xxx amount of money for a job
in a certain time frame, the least the seller can do is alert you
to any issues after that date has passed, 2 weeks after it passed.
to not do so if your around is bad business. thats a fact.

Calling someone a name in this forum is generally not best practices. You asked me to ignore that in a PM as you said it was only a joke and I told you I already did ignore it and told you that others may not.

Not ignoring that is the communities way of trying to keep the site clean and productive... we all want to make money from our internet marketing efforts and we all feed off of each others' knowledge.

You also asked me to help you make money online in that PM and I gave you my personal email address and indicated that if I could help you I would help you if I could so I don't see my "panties in a twist" form your comment.

The reason I shared my lack of cell phone usage was because another member suggested a phone verification situation and I know that would probably not work with me.. seriously, I'm not even sure if my phone is in my Mercedes or in my Infinity so if someone calls me and leaves a message, I may not get that message for a week.

Dial it back a little, Brotherman, I'm sure you are a good guy and just learning some of how things are communicated on this site and you'll learn tons from a bunch of really smart people as well as people like me that are not so smart.

Although this site has Moderators that do an excellent job, we also police our selves to keep the site as clean as possible.

To you, there may not be anything wrong with what you have said. But the fact that the person to whom you made the statement was somehow offended means that some words of apology from you would have been a good idea.

Even if the person in question was not offended, some other people here saw your comment as not too good. All the same, you should still have apologized.
