Hi,

During the start of my IM days I built niche sites and used clickbank as my first company to sell products. I quickly became bored of doing it this way and went on to create more worthwhile sites. I have just looked at my clickbank account now and I have about $200 which I want to get at. It isn't much but not bad considering I spent about 30 mins building the site.

Anyway, I know clickbank has some rules about when I can get paid. I was wondering if I could buy a product for like $5 using my own affiliate link.

I have already used this technique once before so i'm unsure if I might be wasting my money because clickbank needs a certain number of different payment methods before they send me my money right?

I'm leaving to go travelling for 2 years in 3 weeks and would love to find a way to get this money.

Any advice welcome :)

If you set payment to 100$, then they will give you 200$if you have that on you account. So simple's that!

it's already set up to $50. I need 5 sales with different bank details in order to get my money so i've been told

Thats a bummer. I have the same problem. I have well over 100 in there but need more payments from different sources.

I read that they need 5 sales from 5 different account details.

Customer Distribution Requirement

ClickBank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met:

  • Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and,
  • Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, PayPal or European Direct Debit(ELV)). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.
This requirement is in place to help prevent Affiliates from abusing the ClickBank Affiliate program by using their accounts for the sole purpose of fraudulently collecting rebates and/or discounts on their own purchases.
Once you have met the Customer Distribution Requirement, your account will begin issuing payments normally, in accordance with our Accounting Policy, beginning on the next payment issuing date.

I have 1 paypal sale and two visa card sales

So i'm guessing that my visa transaction doesn't count since I brought it from my own affiliate link. I'm confused

yeah clickbank has those awkward rules like 5 sales from diff affiliate links and 5 diff card transactions...that's why i shifted later to paydotcom, so that i don't end up blocking the money
