Weird Article Rejection Reason by Ezine Articles - Google Farmer Update Fallout?

Recently submitted 10 articles to ezine at separate times. Six of the 10 came back rejected. Always the same section 1e I believe relevant to grammar, spelling, etc. Once the 10th is edited (after hearing from them), I could ONLY be a BASIC PLUS. I would have to submit I think either 10 or 25 more articles, go through their hassle system, to get as they call it a second shot."

I've always gotten A on my college papers that I wrote. I am curious on who is reading these. Is it worth the hassle of trying to constantly try to get published by them? Does it really make a big difference to getting found? Any other sites to submit too without all this hassle ? Is there a software, free, that we can use double check ourselves out first? Thanks.

Hey Everybody,

I had submitted 3 articles to EZA a few days ago and I logged-in today to check their status. They were rejected, and the reason given read as follows:

"Your article does not include enough original and informative content"

This is the first time I have come across this particular reason for article rejection. Is it something new that they have come up with after the recent Google Farmer update or is it just something they used to do earlier as well?

My articles were all unique and grammatically correct.

I have more than 500 articles there but i have never seen that. I think it is probably due to the recent changes in Google requirement for unique content

You also need to work towards being a platinum member before you expect to have such privileges

If it takes longer and now harder to get articles approved, I think they as well would be the loser. They make money from the articles of other people. With time, people will start turning away from EZA and looking for other ways of promoting their websites. I think this is the beginning of the end of EZA.

I agree...EZA is now forgetting that without us they would be nothing...WITHOUT WRITERS, EZA IS NOTHING!

Just read their blog post. They want you to write an article with a min. of 400 words for them, and then they stick a nofollow tag on your outbound link. This must be nuts . The beginning of the end for them for sure.

How many submissions do you have? I think you need a certain amount before they become d0foll0w but I could be wrong.

I submitted an article on a brand new ezine account and it took less than 48 hours to get approved. It was barely over 500 words and was written by a friend of mine who normally writes articles for me, they cost me a little more but the quality is second to none.
