remember no1 is calling him a scammer
stating only facts .
op payed 1.5k for website / theme
only theme was done.
stated completion 5/6 weeks op says it been 8weeks
with messages of

"ya man im workin on it, almost done" or "ya just give me a list of what else needs to get done, by friday it will be officially done".

bhw users have left messages on skype / yahoo linking
to this thread with no reply. bhw users / mods have pmd
him here, with no response.

And I dont mind paying for something, even if its a little much than the norm, as long as i get communication and a finished product.

You can lose money quicker than you made it...its not worth to throw your life into chaos over it...

why can't bhw have a phone verification system for the members, so that in such situations, they can be contacted via phone, and a cellphone is something that people carry everywhere, no matter where they are, what they are doing, out of station, in hospital etc.

I don't carry a cell phone with me 98% of the time... I have one but I almost never use it myself. If I put 5 minutes on that phone a month, it means I had a busy month with it.

For the rest of the world though that might be a solid idea.

you can do this within the first
3 months - or file a chargeback if
you used your cc or to the extreem
file payment un authorised

Paypal dispute is normally filed within 45 days. Also, if paypal thinks you received a non tangible product, there's no way you'll get your money back.

The only way you can protect yourself in this situation is to ask for a cd copy from the start as oppose to a download link, because the transaction makes it tangible.

OP I suggest you to wait few more days and if you won't get any respond file a dispute on paypal, in my opinion it shouldn't be hard for you to get a refund, you can also call them.

I will add my two cents.

I had dealings with Cyrus, and I agree, it took him a while to respond. He has done forum building work for me, and he overdelivered a lot! I am talking a lot. I guess he felt bad for delaying my project. His excuse was that his girl is pregnant with his baby and its taking a lot of time up. I know that is personal and I probably shouldn't have shared it.

Just sharing my experience with him.

The bad thing is that a scammer does not give a shit about getting banned. A new account can easily be created under new profile and all stuff and start again the scamming cycle.

I've spoken with cyrus over skype before, he didnt strike me as a scammer - not that you can tell everything about a person from a phone call.

You guys should be aware though that he is in Indiana which got hit by some mad storms last week. The news seems to indicate, that certain parts of his state are still today without power. His skype status confirms similar.

It *could* be that his computer got zapped in the storm, and that he was using a mobile to check BHW/Skype. If this is the case if could explain his absense from this thread.

Obviously the more time that passes the more concerned members should be. I suggest giving him a bit more time, considering whats happened in his location.

I used Moneygram not Paypal as I dont have a paypal Acct. and most People here (from what i ran into) dont even know how to make a buy now button so i can check out...

And this thread wasnt so I could get my money back (which obviously would be nice)

It was more for the people who did "Autoforums" that was "closed due to high demand"

The $1k i paid will be peanuts compared to the business that will be lost, and the possible banning of his account...

Sure he can make a new one, But he has to start all over, And Time=Money as they say.

I can see where your comin from with the storms..

But his YM DOESNT confim this (look at the pic i provided in the first post)

Its been like that all Week...No change of status (he is appearing offline)

And im sorry...If you got time to check BHW from your phone...u can post a thread to all your customers saying whats up...

Even if it wasnt directly for me, A general thread to all of a person's customers would have helped.

but the work was started 8 weeks ago should have been
finished in 5/6 weeks.

leaving 2 weeks hes been on the forum upto 2/3 days ago
with no update or response to the buyer while being online.
he only went off 2 days ago, that left 12 days of being online to reply.
