How many people can you unfollow per day/hour before Twitter stops you?

Unfolow? Like one hour and Twitter stops me. Anyway, I dont unfollow so often.

Is that an answer to his question TheMasterOfMoney? I am not really sure what you are trying to say, can you restate that. Are you saying you unfollow users for about an hour then Twitter stops you, this doesn't really make sense to me. I think he is looking for the amount of users he can safely unfollow in a day/hour.. Chocolatemonkey I usually unfollow around 250c a day no more then a few under 300. I am also curious of the number of users people unfollow a day.. do these effect the number of users I can follow I use they would. Lets say I unfollowed 250 people and then followed 250 people is this the same to twitter as just following or unfollowing 500 people? I assume it is but would like a concrete answer. I know larger accounts can follow more/less but for argument sake lets say the accounts are 2,000 or less followers.

You can unfollow as much as 1k. There will be no problem. I usually unfollow around 500-600 each time and I have never had any problem.

can anyone else also confirm this? I need to unfollow around 1600 and have been doing 100-200 a day. And if I could do 500-600 that would save a lot of time but don't want to risk my account
