If Google is penalizing websites with low quality, non unique, scraped content from RSS feeds, then shouldn't Google also penalize news aggregator sites like popurls.com or Google news itself as they are all getting their content from RSS feeds?

Or is there something else I didn't get right?

Ever seen a URL from something like popurl rank in Google before this? Don't think so. Furthermore, Google news can't be panalized because... (come on, you should know this).

Fair enough, I haven't seen a result from popurl. Any one with an example of an RSS reliant website ranking high on the SERPs?
