Hey community, I don`t know if it was a good idea to create a new thread but this site is really important to me and I spend a lot of of money and time doing SEO...

So I was ranking

no7 for my main keyword competition
no8 for my second keyword

no5 for my website.com/related-keyword

Twelve hours ago everything was fine but now I check the SERPS and I see that in no7 for my keyword is a low quality site which was nowhere to be seen in top20 before. My main keyword is in 600th place my second is in 650th and my com/related-keyword is in 450th... Don`t know what I did wrong - no huge direct blasts, a lot of high pr links, edu/gov backlinks, quality unique content :// maybe two o the xrumer pyramids did this for me...but I doubt that since they were small ones. It is also strange that 3-4 websites with only several links and poor content are in the top 20 for my keywords... maybe it is just a google dance? But from 5-8 positions to 500th? I guess I am just trying to calm my self down.

BTW, few days ago I ordered a xrumer pyramid to my 2 weeks old website (tier 1 brings 250 links to my website directly) - maybe should I cancel it or I am just feeling paranoid?

Hey, dont worry about the google dance, it usually happens to sites that starts marketing and getting alot of backlinks suddendly. You need to keep building quality backlinks so that your site will back in few weeks with more authority.

But the problem is I did not build a lot of links suddenly and from what I have noticed the dance only happened for one or two pages in the past - not for the entire website. Also is that kind of 500 places jump is not too much for a dance?

Only 1 or 2 pages has been hit is the reason you are facing google dance, it usually happens and sometime you even dont see your site in 1000 results , dont get panic only you need to build more and more links. If you are building 10 - 20 links per day to these pages than now build 30 - 40 links daily and make sure that you have to build it on daily basis ie. dont blast it 100 - 200 links for a week instead do 30 - 40 links per day for next 2 months. You will surely get your site back and with more authority

All of my website`s pages have been hit. I had mysite.com/article-on-keyword ranking in 20-30th position, so about 6 pages of my website got hit...

bertbaby, my product is a CPA offer, I have build about 500 backlinks per three weeks, and I had 300 of them indexed, I also made a lot of .edu backlinks but the number of my backlinks decreased because at first one edu blog used some kind of plugin and it showed that I have 200 backlinks from that site (it showed my comment in various pages I guess) so that might be the problem....

Hard to know without seeing the site but I wouldn't get too stressed about it. The index is basically constant chaos and it's not uncommon to see huge temporary fluctuations or apparent regressions in the serps.

Like the others have said just keep building links and 99% chance you'll be alright. Also build more sites, build them differently, get different styles and patterns of links etc.

With SE stuff, you've got to constantly have your grind on - just build, build build and just never stop building new stuff and you'll be OK.

Oh yeah, Simas don't get discouraged if you're not quite getting the results you want just yet. You're obviously motivated and willing to put in the hours so if you just keep trying and building and thinking and tweaking your strategies you will get there sooner rather than later.

This is hard shit that we're doing and there's no clear roadmap you can follow - everyone basically has to blaze a trail for themselves. Build build build - just keep at it man!

As everyone said what you experienced its pretty normal. After replying from your previous thread I just remembered to check on a site that I just built backlinks to it. It ranked #53 without any backlinks. After building backlinks and two got indexed it disappeared from the serp. Yesterday night it was back at #25 and today it was gone...I checked the backlinks, I saw five backlinks indexed...that is just a dance which will continue until one day google will let my site sit on top when the backlinks becomes steady.

I hope this will make you relax and focus on more positive things in your work.

First of all, how old your site is ? How long have you been in top positions? Whats your backlinks ? Copy some text from your site (3-4 sentences) to google, if you are not in 1st position, thats penalty. Why? To me it looks like your backlinks were removed. My site was in the same situation, top 10 for main keyword and some day page dropped to 50 position and after 1 day to 500 position, its like 3 months there and i can't get it back. Backlinking site don't help. In my case, alot of profiles ExpressionEngine type got deindexed by google, nowadays its almost imposible to index those so thats why my site dropped. I dont know what type of backlinks you have, i can check your site if you PM me with URL.

Its just a google dance,Don't stop link building. Go on building more and more links. Diversify your anchors. You will eventually get your Ranking back even more stronger

After more than one month from the time the site lost all of his rankings big time (by 400-500 positions) it came back! The rankings now are by 4-5 positions lower then it used to be but I am happy it came back

Hey Simas, well done your site is again in good position but let me advise you that dont do only one type of backlinking, you need to be diversiy so that you can have consistant position otherwise you will see same type of "Google Dance" every 2 months .

Keep link building and if possible get every month some links from High Page Rank Urls

I just thought that posting my site`s "come back" story would help other peers who think that their web is sandboxed be more optimistic, cause in my case it looked like a penalty cause it was almost impossible to find my website even when copy pasting my really unique h1 tags into google, etc. that website was build for two specific CPA offers but unfortunately now they are both gone and the similar ones are only in a couple of networks who have rejected my application...

P.S after all of my rankings dropped dramatically I did a 8k xrumer blast to my site directly, 1,5k AMR blast and 30k scrapebox auto-approve comments during the same day.

So you did this to bring your website out of the sandbox, right?

If any of my 6 brand new websites get sandboxed, then I will do this to bring them out of the sandbox.
