AMR experts - Care to help new users???

Hey everyone,

A couple of months ago, there was a thread entitles "Article marketing robot - tips from all here" and it had awesome tips and advice from Ericsson, Sniper and other AMR experts around. But not sure why it was deleted.

I'm daring again to create a similar thread where I'd request experts to share their tips with new AMR users like me :p

I successfully singed up with 3150 directories and confirmed emails as well. But when I tried to submit my article, it was successfully submitted to only 660 directories. Sucks :rolleyes:
Here are some specs of article:
500 words
In arts niche
I had no HTML in article body (No bold, italics, links whatsoever)
I had 1 link in resource box using my anchor text.
The length of resource box was just three words (I think this is where I made a mistake but not sure).

Anybody care to share their experience?

This is more or less normal; you need to build your own fresh list of directories and filter the bad ones if you want to have higher success rate. Say, you build a list of 6000, lower your connections (from the AMR options), then submit say 3-4 articles, and if you manage to get around 1000 successful submissions, then put these 1000 directories in a separate group, and submit only to them.

You will need to "freshen up " your list at least once every 2-3 months as well.
 
oh, yeah, categories are very important as well - have a good list of categories and make sure that their names are exactly as you find them on most of the directories;

Say, instead of using Sports, you need to use:
Recreation and Sports, Sports, Sports and Fitness, Sports-and-Recreation

then add every category you can think of in the "Category" field and you'll see better results
 
As hpv said above, you need to add a lot of categories. Filter your directories to 'failed' and have a look at the reason most of the failed. Many of them will probably say 'category mismatch'.
 
When I run reports, I use the slow fetch method and the fast method to locate them, then the "fastest" to build the final report that combines the results from the other two.

Either method individually finds different results, and they aren't cumulative, so you have to run the last one to get them all on the same report.

Weed out the results that say (not published) or just list a domain and not a url to an article, then save that final LiveLink list to a file to backlink to in Scrapebox.
 
I would be very interested in getting this thread full of helpful tips.

What is best way of finding a list of articles directories to submit to? Can Scrapebox help with this? If so, how?

Well I got another problem now :p

I successfully submitted to ~1000 sites and once the submission was over, I went straight checking live links with 10 threads and 50sec timeout. It did fine until the last 5 threads were remaining. AMR was just stuck there, saying something like (I don't remember the exact words :p ) in status bar.

And it stuck there for two hours. After that, status bar displayed "ready" but it never exported the .txt file containing live links (which it was supposed to do). Now its just frozen and I can't click anywhere inside it - it gives that bad warning sound. It won't even minimize...

Happened to you ever? If yes, how did you come around this?

From 1k submitted how many of them was AA?

As I said above, it didn't export the .txt file containing live links hence no idea :p

But I submitted to 660 directories yesterday and found ~130 live links right after the blast.

The key is to use a unique article and properly hand-spin it for maximum approval rate.

it also happens to me frequently while checking live links report. I don't know why it happens may be coz i am running senukex, bmd, scrapebox simultaneously. I posted a thread on amr forum but haven't got any solutions from others.

so i manged to overcome this problem by myself :)

while checking live links report, don't force to end process.

1. open your task manger.
2. In application tab you will see "save as" it's for amr.
3. right click and press "Switch To". now you can save your live links report.

I have been reading up on AMR so this post is very useful to me, thanks to all that have contributed. Can I ask a couple of questions.

1. How many directories come with AMR and how many are working?
2. What is the best way to get more directories for the database?
3. Is it possible to use a yahoo email account with AMR?
4. Is it a one time payment for the application?
