I just read the entire thread and I will make a small summary from page 1 to 63. (edit: Notice this is just a summary and not my personal opinion as I have not used this method extensively, I just summarized the thread under these 2 questions as well as I could, amazingly there is not a lot of valuable info even if you read all of the pages )

Yes. A more accurate answer would be not as well as before as you earn less per hour than you did before. Reason being AC got smarter over time and they keep track of the published articles and accounts more efficiently.

Don't write for AC. They don't pay enough. Take a look at DemandMedia (ehow). They pay $15.00

They have 13,000 writers going at it every day.

Several people have mentioned using the speech recognition utility that comes with windows 7. Let me tell you from experience, there is no comparison. The win 7 app makes so many mistakes you will have a nervous breakdown and feel you have somehow failed. Buy DNS 11 online for around $50 bucks or get DNS 10 from good ole pirate bay.

Did you know that college kids use DNS all of the time?

This may have worked temporarily in the past, but this isn't how you make a living online anymore. I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble, but this "method" parallels little kids setting up a lemonade stand. It's just not going to be a career.

You might be better of spinning a bunch of auto-content and using that for unique backlinks to a quality piece of content. Taking the time to produce a bunch of higher quality articles doesn't usually serve you well unless you have all the time in the world or are actually...Associated Content or eHow, etc.

I find Associated Content very critical about their content. I got one out of four, of my articles accepted. I have to write like Clark Kent, Mark Twain James Baldwin or Virginia Wolf or somebody in order to get accepted. All for $2
