Here's a new screenshot from SEOHades:

I got the telephone number scraper to work pretty well but currently it's only able to recognize US telephone numbers. There's also a feature that lets you search job listing sites using targeted keywords and then the software extracts e-mails and telephone numbers from all the job listings (that provide those details) related to your keyword.

I'm still open to suggestions on what else this software should do...! :) The beta will most likely start in May so there's still some time to add new features.

Hey Subsonic.

Per your suggestion and based on what the tool does, I would like to be included.

The tool has a lot of potential.

Thanks for the opportunity.

I have made some nice progress with SEOHades and it won't take long to have it ready for testing. I won't send it to all of you so if I don't pm you, you're not in the testing group. Those of you who are active members here are surely picked for testing, I'm not sure about others yet.

As I said I've made some improvements and the program is working like a charm. There are still some important features to be implemented but here are a few screenshots from the latest build.

As I said this is just a unstable build of SEOHades so there are bugs and other stuff so don't wonder if there are weird e-mails in the list or something. :) There are also many more features but I won't reveal them before they are finished! Tell me what you think!

If you can, it would be great to see the program grab phone and fax numbers. I already have a WHOIS scraper, but if yours can use proxies, that would be great.

I want a program that will also extract internal links like /../page2.html, /../page3.html. Some scrapers that do a lot of things really good have the problem with following these links.

It would also be nice if the scraper would extract links from a list of links. For example, i go to a page and extract all of the link. I then take that list and extract all of the links on the next page. Again, there are tools that do this but not always very well.

I would like to see a program that will extract domains from search results.

Just my initial thoughts.

Wow great suggestions, thanks for taking the time to write them down! The program already grabs US phone numbers but it can easily be extended to grab numbers from other countries as well (+ fax numbers). I've built the program to be easily customizable so I can try to add those internal links scraping features too!

Domain grabbing from search results is a great suggestion, didn't think of that. I can customize the crawler to gather all kinds of data from any search engine (almost) so it will be an easy task to do.

Again, thanks for your suggestions! I really look forward to beta testing period so you can actually see how the program works. Thanks for your valuable help :)

Glad to do so. Once the beta is available, I'll be more than happy to give you a list of suggested features. I do not do much SEO at the moment, but there is always a market for scrapers and such.

Hi, I am interested to test this baby tool. I will give my true review and feedback!

Hi,
hope I'm not to late? Willing to test your SW with pleasure!

Okay, I think it's time to show you some progress I've made. Here are the new features which are either finished or almost finished:

  • You can target scraping for countries, territories, colonies, and dependencies of independent countries (in total of 258 geographical locations available). You can scrape any location that has its own TLD!
  • Scrape only sites from selected TLD (like .mobi, .pro, .edu, .gov, .museum, .xxx (no sites yet but it's supported in SEOHades))
  • Scrape MSN contact lists online (not a huge feature but provides thousands of results)
  • Ghost mode for super fast scraping (no UI updates, SEOHades will work in background)
  • The software can easily handle millions of e-mail addresses. However I really doubt that you will never scrape so many addresses.
  • E-mail list validation and cleaning (spamtraps, honeypots etc. EXPERIMENTAL)

I'd also like to show you some screenshots from the newest build. The first picture here shows you the screen where the user is setting up the crawlers. As you can see the software supports most language alphabets so you can search for Arabic websites using Arabic alphabet, Russian websites using Cyrillic alphabet and so on. In the image there are in total six crawlers set up:

  • First one searches from German pages related to Model agencies
  • The second one searches from Arabic websites with keyword "oil"
  • The third one searches from Russian websites with a keyword "travel"
  • The fourth one searches for Georgian sites using a keyword "Real Estate"
  • The fifth one searches for Real Estate related sites from all over the world
  • The last one searches for MSN contact lists from all over the world

As you can imagine these features allow you to find SUPER-TARGETED e-mails from anywhere in the world ;)

The second screenshot shows you the crawlers in progress. This part of the program is currently getting some heavy modifications so it doesn't look too good but you get the idea!
