Yeah the mailbox is definitely illegal in the US, but the flyer method I'm thinking has a ton of potential.

Just posted an ad on CL, and found someone who will put the flyers on cars for $10 per hundred. I'll be promoting my own products, not CPA's, but I'm really hoping to get some decent results.

You just ask him to take a picture of every line of cars with your flyer on them or something like that.

Perhaps do a rev. share or tell him 50% of the payment upfront, 50% after the flyers have been delivered? You will find out soon enough what has been done or not by your stats..

I was really hoping to see a few more updates from the OP. Since they are paper flyers, I'd like to see the traffic/conversions from the remainder and following day.

I found a student on CL who'll do it for $10 USD per 100 flyers. Those cost about $3 to print, so $13 per hundred flyers (not amazing, but I think the numbers will still work).

My test run is on a $50 product, targeted towards the education market (mainly college students, and it has a free trial and money back guarantee). If I can get anywhere near a decent conversion, I'll be filling up parking lots all over the country with my flyer.

I'll post an update of the results.

Great going... Upscale this but don't forget that ROI can be slightly lower when you do this with tens of thousands of flyers but you will make money with this if you do it right

Maybe you can just pay the postal company to distribute your ads as well. Or you know those plastic sheets with all the ads in them you get every once a weak? Perhaps you can get your flyer included as well.

whos distributing the flyers for you? and how do you know they are delivering properly and not putting a bunch of them in trash cans and delivering only half of them? how do you monitor them?
