Hi there all of you!

I have read many many threads here for few days about the autoblogging. I started it in October, 2010 with my first blog but I am not successful much. I have tried several plugins such as autoblogged, WP-O-Matic, RSS feed, Cute auto content etc.

So, I guess I am missing here something... I would like to ask you about a detailed tutorial on how to make an effective news autoblog. I am considering three things:

1 - A good RSS fetcher
2 - Synonymize articles
3 - A good WP free theme such as New York Times appearance
4 - How to increase traffic.

I have listed my two blogs which i have developed since October, 2010. But, I am not able to get traffic over 100 visitors on blog 2 and 75 visitors a day on blog 1

Please post your valuable suggestions.

Thank you!

EDIT: Since, I am new member, system is not allowing me to post my blog links

1. I'm too biased to answer

2. Synonymizing articles is a bad idea in my opinion; your site will just look like crap and will never pass a manual review if someone ever reports it. The whole dupe content thing is way overhyped anyway.

3. I haven't seen any great free newspaper themes, but gabifrethemes.com has the best paid ones.

4. Most of the best ways to get traffic fast could also get your blog banned pretty quick from search engines so don't try them with important sites if you are a beginner, but they are all well-documented around this forum.

You can also focus on an untapped niche or consider making income selling links. If you have an autoblog that is actually useful you could even try marketing it the old fashioned way. Use google keywords tool and make sure you are getting the long-tail phrases into your articles and tags.

Another technique is to find an affiliate program and build the autoblog niche around that.

I use autoblogging software and although it pulls content for you, you still need to attract traffic to your site. I wrote a post on how to drive traffic to your blog.

You will need to submit your name to blog directories, article marketing, commenting on blogs, blog carnivals, and social bookmarking sites these are all things to get you going. Understand this is something that you continue to do, it is not a one time deal and your done. The hardest part is marketing and improving your ranking so that you are higher in the search engines. Hope this helped you.

Your blog is down!

I used to do autoblogs, with WPRobot. I got into the whole autoblogging craze when I found out about it through one of the predictable top Internet marketing gurus through a ClickBank software.

To make a long story short, my autoblogs got severely slapped by Google, but not de-indexed. Something I started to do, but not long enough for me to really tell you if it worked out or not, is let the autoblogging software save the pulled content as a draft, then I'd go in, and use that as something of a template, then I'd modify it manually to the point that you couldn't really tell it was ever from another source at all, and thus didn't have to keep their backlinks from the articles I pulled.

This seems couterproductive though, as the concept of autoblogging is to have it be "automated", so you don't have to touch it. Still, consider it as building a website that you're doing LESS work to make, than having to think about and write every bit of your own original content.

Is there a free tool like WPRobot?

Do, believe me that these days auto blogs are getting being affected very much because of panda, so in no case I prefer you them as they are not eligible of addsence adds as well

autoblogs are being hit by panda update? possibly... but mine have seen an increase in traffic...
