Simple Question about Helping Competition? what?

Here's what I'm wondering: If I spam a competitor with SB blasts linking to my own sites, does it help the competition. It's not getting linked anywhere but just is getting its comments box abused..Does that help them for the G?

There are opposing sides on that type of behavior.

This is what i have seen.... and what i believe.

If you spam 10,000 links to your competitor
...they will get 10 units of damage....

if you create 10,000 links to YOUR SITE
.. you will get 100 units of progress....

Do you see where I am going with all this....


Even if it works..... its not worth it.

If you spam their site with links from bad neighborhoods.....like sites riddled with links to porn and what not

No he is actually asking if he blasts his competitors blogs with comments linking back to his site will the extra content and outbound links help his competitor rank.

Answer: NO. And if it did help them, it would be extremely slight help.
