Rank 34 in my main keyword, what next?

A newbie here.

I wrote a few articles, use XSitePro to set up my 1st website, posted a thousand of backlinks in one shot, waited for 2 weeks and got ranked in 34th position in my main keyword. What to do next?

Your site seems better than mine. I got 71th rank on google after 2 weeks. My targeted keyword found 2,840,000 results on broad, 45,600 results in exact and About 148,000 results allintitle. Have bult over 10000 BLs from Blog comments, RSS, article and article Directories...

What's next. I believe more quality backlinks will worth the ranking...

so basically you did nothing... Um, unless you LIKE being at 34 you keep working on your site. a 'few' articles and 1000 backlinks is a drop in the bucket for most keywords worth having.

My targeted keyword have about 73,300,000 results, 116,000 results in exact and About 4,070 results allintitle. (Where I ranked 6th in allintitle) No RSS nor link from article directory XD
