Here's my review for Secax's service:
First of all I have to state that I'm a difficult customer. Everything always needs to be perfect, needs to be exactly how I visioned it unless the designer surpasses it. This usually isn't fair to designers, because beauty lies within the eyes of the beholder. So when I pick designers to do freelance work, I choose only ones that shows signs of flair, someone who can compete against high end designers. For this project of mine, I have personally browsed through at least 20 designers extensively. Finally I decided to try Secax's services.
Communication is flawless. Basically you send a PM or Email, he replies. Simple as that. All within 24 hours. He's good on his word too. If he says tomorrow, he means tomorrow. No delays, no excuses, nothing.
I gave him a couple of examples/sites that I liked in terms of layout/design, and a brief outline of what the site is about. He said 3 days later, and sure enough, the complete mock up was done. The design was great, but I felt it missed a few key elements that I required and possibly wasn't communicated properly on my end. Again, this is a mock up that could easily be placed under his portfolio where people would rave about, but it just wasn't for me.
So I asked for a revision, which I didn't reply to for a week as I was busy. He patiently waited. A revision is a tweak here and there, but what I wanted was basically a complete re-design. Usually freelance designers would say no way (and I was prepared to accept it if that happened). I gave him new examples, detailing the key elements this time, more specifics, and he went right to work, no complaints, my satisfaction was the only thing that mattered.
So again, he gave a deadline, and sent it to me. Voila, everything was right. It was exactly what I wanted. This... doesn't happen often. Everything was handled with professionalism and care. It's a rarity especially in the freelance community for this to happen.
