low indexing of article backlink

Hey guys,

So i've noticed that articles on article directories aren't getting indexed as well as they used to. example ... i blasted about 1,000 succesful articles with AMR about 2 weeks ago .. when i checked my hubpage with www.backlinkwatch.com ... it shows only 1 backlink ... what's going on?

for starters, even though you submitted 1k articles, probably only 10% got posted immediately. The rest either will or wont over time. Do a live link report in AMR to find out how many actual links you created.

second, did you ping, rss, or backlink to any of the articles?

google knows they are spammy so you need to shine those turds and give google a reason to index them

well i checked about 300 of them and 70% are live. And yes i did ping and rss them .. everything that you've mentioned has been done .. but still has no results! barghh this is frustrating me! i use pingfarm to ping and bulkping to create and submit the feeds. Nothing's happening!

Give it some time. Many articles will take longer to show up as backlinks ... many never will. Google loves some directories and hates others. Focus on submitting to the the ones that seem to show up as backlinks.

I am currently running some extensive tests on the effectiveness of Article Marketing with regards to traffic and back-links. I hate to put a downer on those who use this as a primary method, but it's seems that so far the early impressions look bleak.

Many people keep commenting on the latest google update effecting their rankings in the search. Sites that many so called seo experts recommend like ezine etc have taken a massive hit, so much so that that have totally revamped their review process, resulting in far less articles being approved.

I have been informed that google are considering dropping their own Go-Articles site. Is this a hint to how they see the value of these sites, and are we seeing the death of "AM", well it's too early to say, but I think link diversity right now is something we all should be considering.

That always have been priority. Why you thing many people are crying they have lost ranking. It has been said many times here.
