Herbal Incense Banned In My Area How Do I Target The Market?

Within the last week herbal incense has been banned in my area... I guess they think its time to crack down on this substance because you can get "high" off the product. Anyways the ban has allowed retailers to continue to sell any supply they bought before the ban was put into effect but after that they can not sell anymore...

Now over the last couple months I have seen a large increase in use of the product and now since there is the ban you have to go over a county just to purchase the product. I have checked out the site "Legal Bud" where you can buy a couple ounces of legal bud for $59.95 or so and I calculated the price / mark up I could be receiving almost $220 profit per 3 ounces at the rates gas stations are charging for their products ($10 for 3 grams) but after ban announced ($25 for 1.5 grams).

Anyways I have 3 ounces ordered and on the way to my house but now I need a way to target the market that is steadily increasing without knowing the people directly... anyone have tips or ideas? I don't know how much trouble I can get in for selling herbal incense after the ban but it can't be more than a fine like tobacco.

most of this stuff includes the JWH series of synthetic cannabinoids. The DEA banned these chemicals at the end of 2010. Basically it makes them illegal to own or distribute. Its a schedule-1 controlled substance now. Basically getting caught with a bunch of this stuff you could be locked up like a pot or meth dealer.

Not worth the risk to make a couple hundred bucks

Yes this is completely real... we are past April 1st. I currently stay on the east coast of the United States and since I see tons of people smoking these products and the ban is in effect then I want to corner the market real quick for a month or two selling the product and hopefully earn a couple grand but now I need to figure out how to corner the market... any ideas?

You can buy them online all over the place. Look for an affiliate program or approach someone about becoming an affiliate if you cannot find one. You can help them integrate tracking for your aff cookie and all.

Not what I am looking to do... I have already got a place I can purchase it from that is 100% legit now I need to find out how to get offline visitors the word that I have got this on hand...

The newer generation of these doesn't have any scheduled chemicals, but it's considerably stronger and lasts longer than real weed. I imagine you could sell it for a small profit around your county, but I bet a lot of people will just go to the next county too.

I'd be careful though. I don't know what the penalty for selling it is, but if you distribute it for human consumption, you're selling an analogue of a schedule I drug. It works so well in gas stations because they can just hand it over and play dumb.

Couple more hits from the gas station shit and I won't even have to play dumb. The only bad thing about this stuff is if you smoke too much of it you will have a real bad trip (just had one this afternoon) but thats in my opinion, others may think its dank lol.

Guess you haven't smoked any lately... Ive smoked Mad Hatter, Spicey XXX, Kush Herbal Incense, and all of them got me way too stoned so yeah.

The friend from Magicblends have righ that Legal Buds doesnot working however have right the friend Moremoneymoreproblem that all the herbal incense is not good. But here in Europe they found a good blend wich is not for say yeah opposed you can smoke it perfect and the important thing is that natural incense.When i've smoked this herbs really i loved it.

First off you better damn sure figure that out. In most States that banned this stuff they first named chemicals and when that didn't work they covered all the chemicals by saying "synthetic cannabinoid". So basically no matter what chemicals they use if you smoke it and it affects the cannabinoid receptors then it's illegal.

Secondly, just a fine are you kidding? The places that banned this stuff classified it as a Schedule I drug (heroin, morphine, etc) which is a felony if caught in possession. If they catch you selling it online then the Feds get involved and slap you half a dozen Federal crimes for trafficking drugs through interstate commerce.

Lastly, you need to quit smoking so much of that stuff and operate with a clear mind. You're talking felonies and serious jail time if you get caught. We just had a local boy that thought he'd do like you and sell the stuff online and under the counter to local gas stations. FedEx dropped the box and it got a hole in it and out came the packets. FedEx reported it and the last I heard the guy has 21 felony counts and his bail is 30,000.

You'd be better off selling real weed online. The penalties are much less but you'll still end up in jail.

We used to make, package and distribute this stuff before it became illegal. Now I wouldn't dream of it. I like my freedom and don't like felonies.

I used to sell them but here in ny the ban will come to effect in one month. Which I doubt all stores will stop selling herbal products. Hey if they still sell lose cigarettes and its not legal, what you think all these small delis will do?

This stuff is terrible, why do people approach it at all.. even the 018 is terrible.. it's very easy to overdose and you're like ALIENS IN MY BRAIN for hours on end. Also, the substances have not been thouroughly researched at all iin terms of effects on the human body. Even some drugs that pass FDA approval for human consumption have been proven to be toxic.

I read this thread a few days ago, and had the idea that one of the "ghetto friends" might want to get into this business as he's always looking for an "angle".

Turns out, this stuff is OLD NEWS. This market, at least, is already saturated and it's being sold at every Bombay-bandit convenience store and gas station in the entire city. Besides that, those that might be inclined to use the stuff have reactions similar to the post above, except what I heard was a bit different. Nothing about "aliens in the brain", but a deep and widespread concern that smoking the incense might cause heart failure. Apparantly, one of the effects of at least some of this stuff is that it makes your heart race. My friends prospective customers would only use this stuff if there was absolutely nothing else available, and given how common weed is around here (and everywhere else, I suppose), I don't think there's even a market. Given the potential risk and low reward, I made the decision to look elsewhere for economic opportunities.

I don't buy gas station stuff but I do get Calea shipped to me (I originally planned to make tea but it's the most terrible tasting stuff in the world and I've eaten Durian) and... yeah there are always hassles. Especially when your parents come over and all they know is that its green and leafy looking. LOL.
