Depends how much you'll be using it. It could eat a lot of bandwidth of you're blasting every day, so if you plan to use it a lot, run it on a VPS. I use it both on my VPS and laptop.

VPS gives you the benefit of freeing up your own PC, and in some cases more importantly, your bandwidth. The costs are usually minimal. Vps are better.

Don't even think of using proxies especially when trying to sign up, otherwise you will have most of your account disapprove or suspended over time when the directories registration do not tally with the country IPs. If you want to use proxy then i will have to be one which i don't see any need, beside AMR does not support or need it.

VPS is good as its speed up the submission rate greatly, you will see the value when you have over 5, 000 directory list.

VPS all the way, you may wish to consider buying a stack of proxies (I know some services offer proxies as part of the package) I personally find public proxies to be more than sufficient if you are willing to take the time/effort to keep them fresh and fast.

I'm jumping on the VPS bandwagon too. But I would still use proxies if you are running it a lot so you won't get banned from directories.

amr supports proxies, i use private proxies with amr at all times
please check the tool to see what it does before you claim it doesn't do something.

for that matter
use PRIVATE proxies with amr
never public.

you use private proxies for amr for the same reason you use private proxies for scrapebox,nohandsseo and ser
you don't want the article directories linking your account with that of a fool
and you don't want them banning your account and deleting your previous submissions because you logged in from an ip that was blacklisted by the antispam service some of them use

you have to put your proxies back in it
