Need help marketing

I know this website is nothing to do with marketing as of such but as you will see i need to recruit members to my website.

basically i am looking to find new members to our website in a niche subject.

I have tried facebook but this method requires alot of effort for very little results.

I would like to know whats the best ways for me to get more followers.

Any advanced marketing tips will help

Putting some content on the site might help for a start.

First, get a real website, a .com or .org. It makes you look infinitely more professional.

Secondly, get a real template. Not the basic WP one, but something unique that catches the eye.

Third, as Oxon said, get some unique content on there so people actually want to go on your website.

Then, if it is very niche specific, look for some FB fan pages or Twitter accounts in the same niche. Scrape their fans and followers and add them to promote your website. Do it with an automated problem.

Build some backlinks as well, that will get you to the top of Google, especially if it is an underpopulated unique keyword.

the websites been up 5 days it has 3 blog posts and 5 pages already lol what u expect.

Also i said facebook is bad for marketing i tried the group posts.

which programme do i use to scrap fans and mass mail them all upto 1000 a day this will be more effective for sure i agree.

If the website has only been up for a few days and isn't built, I don't expect you to be marketing it.

I don't think Bentley started trying to sell their cars when they just had the chassis and no frame or electrical.

FB is bad for marketing how you're doing it. Posting to groups. I'm not talking about posting to a page that almost no one views.

We have a social networking section, use the search button.

its not a business though its a community people joined the facebook before the website was even up its the idea people are interested not the blog posts. Also i have added all the main pages with about us, members, contact us and music.

I will update in due time im not looking for massive traffic im looking for interested people to become members. For example the members can see the posts for updates but if they miss one or two it is not the end of the world 2012. lol

People will not take you seriously if you dont have a presentable site, if you market crap you will get crap . Simple as that.

No one here is asking you to buy a custom template and custom design , just get a free wordpress template, shit spend a 1-2 dollars for an .info domain and slap a free wordpress template. Your site will look better, but jokes aside the 2 members who gave you advice is not something to be taken lightly cause if you think you are right then why are you having problems and asking us?

Why don't you try posting this thread to a forum related to your niche?
I saw a hemp video. So I assume that's the niche.

Make YT videos backlinking to your site. KW dominate related words in new posts
to drive traffic to your site.

This site is all about marketing and driving traffic. So I'm not sure where you got that it's got nothing to do with marketing.

I was trying to be nice @ the op, if you're going to invite people to a party at least
make sure there's a drink waiting for them on arrival.
Build your site first, niche related original content, images, find yourself a nice theme,
Give them a reason to come back.
