Does anyone have a clear cut way to make hundreds of twitter accounts appear real? I know you can scrape, use RSS, etc, even thought about copying other ppl's tweets completely. But really, does anyone have some solid tips to appearing very real? Please discuss.

A lot of people that spam twitter do not even have a picture or logo, you will have much more succsess if you simply add a good photo/logo to the account.

What software are you using?

Adding photos, backgrounds.
tweeting random blurb. retweeting others.
and creating lists with people.

That would make it seem real.

just think about what a usual user do on twitter and do the same

fill out your profile, select a profile pic, change the background, change the default theme, tweet a bit, RT a bit, reply a bit, DM a bit, list a bit, block a few people, make friends etc. and most importantly: don't spam the shit out of your timeline, because this is what gets you suspended even if you try to look real

hmm... if i have a ton of tw1tter accts, i gotta fill out 500 profiles with spun bios, upload 500 profile pics + 500 themes, do 500 starter tweets, RT a bit 500x, DM a bit (? whats that), block, make friends? OK wow seems like a ton of work. I got TA pro so im hoping that will cut the work down. This is really what is the basics to tw1tter?

you asked how you can make your twitter accounts seem legit, that is how

i guess you don't want to create those account just for the hell of it, you want to do some link spamming, if it's the case, your accounts will be banned sooner or later no matter what, if you try to make them look legit, you might extend their lifetime a bit

one more thing: if you start with 500 brand new accounts, just leave them at least for a few days/1 week w/o doin anything, it will also extend their lifetime

or another alternative: don't give a fuck about what is being written here, burn the accounts till they last and make new ones

and tweetattacks will cut the work down, that's a sure thing

well dude, like I'm with a TON of cpa networks, and.. ppc SUCKS right now. so saturated. So now, i turn to twitter, with its lure of free traffic. Which seems like a great idea, until... i see its like the largest chat room ever. But I login to one unnamed network and see this...

So then im like ah ... am i gona do with this? so if i got 500 new twitter accounts, then what? I gotta devote a certain few to each of these campaigns?

Yah you guys know exactly what im talking about. I bet you're just like me. Logged into your network, checking out how people are tweeting out the offers using the twitter search function, and trying to do some reverse engineering. I like that whole idea of TA's wait and reply but man... staggering work.

That means... I gotta scrape blogs/forum posts/yahoo answers.

what about having groups of these accounts talking to each other?

i see full of wins here :)

reverse engineering is always good idea, however you can't be always 100% sure which campaigns are really successful and which aren't
you can expect traffic from twitter search, google and other search engines as well, not just from your followers (so basically you can have conversions w/o having any followers, if you are able to write tweets which can rank on google)

the groups of accounts talking to each other - i guess in YA style - is also a viable idea i think, although i've never done it

yah well what i did was
1. created subdomains using main keyword
3. check the aw$tats

  • where the clicks are coming from
  • what browser hit the site
Interestingly, I found pretty consistently 30% twitter traffic came from mobile phones. And cpa offers... on a mobile phone?... LOL.. only zip/email submits prolly.

i'd have expected even more than 30%, mobile is on rise on every front and don't forget about bots and crawlers which also generates a lots of "traffic" on twitter (which is obviously not good for anything), but good to know when you wonder why the fuck there's no conversion when there were 1000 unique clicks on a particular offer, it might be because it was only 10 real people who clicked and 900+ bot clicks (this example might sound a bit exaggerated, but it isn't so much)

Dude, you hit it right on the head. Twitter shows MASSIVE traffic but ZERO conversions. I suspected they were bots... how can you be sure? U read awstats too? Is there a way to find out?

hey honeybird, I just joined twtmob. how come theres no campaigns available?

I try to always add an icon and new background. I also fill in the profile.

From time to time I'll respond to real users or talk amongst my accounts. I've never created a list, I'll have to add that in.

I use tweet attacks pro to retweet myself across accounts. I will randomly select which accounts to use. Post a non spam tweet. Wait a bit and then retweet it with my selected accounts.

I'm not running 500 accounts though. Just about 30 which are all almost tied back to autoblogs. I've never had any CPA on Twitter to convert other than Zip/Email submits. Clickbank has also never worked for me when I've tried it. The few real twitter users (non bots or marketers) don't seem to want to buy anything.

yes makes sense to retweet yourself with fake accounts. Drum up a bunch of those, you could probably look convincing to a random person searching you. Probably in the hash tag search or replies. Right?

I was thinking it's best to try getting everyone on an aweber mailing list somehow, using a squeeze page. But so far no luck with that one.

i don't read awstats, i just know it from my experience when i did PPC on twitter with revtwt, i read a study about this:
Code:
http://www.seo-artworks.com/Twitter/twitter-study-botsvshumans.htm
and a lots of others also have this experience too

as far as twtmob, i'm not so familiar with them, i even forgot that i'm registered with twtmob until they didn't send me that offer to promote one of their campaigns yesterday
i think you need a few 10 thousand followers and it may also help if you attach a US based twitter account to become eligible to run a campaign for one of their advertisers

You can use the fake RT method, when you pretend to RT a tweet from somebody who doesn't even said that: 'RT @anytwitterusername: your message' and you can mix (hashtags of) trending topics into your tweets to generate more traffic

I push my CPA offers to a landing page with an opt-in for my mailing list. It's slow going growing the list. Only about 18 confirmed sign ups in a month. But I hope it will be worth it.
