LogMeIn issues

Anybody have this problem with LogMeIn?

When I use it to log in to my Win2k3 server, it doesnt show me the correct account. I use the same login as I use with Remote Desktop. With LogMeIn, I cant see what is running on my machine, none of the apps that I need to work with or anything. Its like I logged into a different user account, except that I've checked 20 times that I'm logging in to the right account.

I use the same info with Remote Desktop and it works perfectly.

I really NEED this to work so I can administrate this stuff from my dekstop, laptop, mac mini, ipad, iphone etc no matter where I am.

Don't know about LogMeIn, tried it once, but gave up in favor of TeamViewer, create an account and then wherever you are, install it, and log in, you'll see your server online. Works awesome from my laptop and iPhone. Just a thought.

Looks like TeamViewer doesnt give me enough options without buying a commercial license. Need to install it on several servers.

They actually take your word for it I have it installed on one server and 2 laptops with the same account, actually the account is just for convenience, when you install it just select for personal use and that's it. It's not like logmein is free.

It's not like logmein is free.

Its not free but its not $750 upfront either. You got teamviewer installed on 3 machines and I couldnt get mine working right on my third machine (mac mini) and I need something that works correctly, period.

Guess I'll go look for a different solution.

I believe there is some problem in software settings. Check the settings again. If you have the same software installed in other system and working fine, then cross verify the settings. Finally you can try uninstall the software and do a fresh installation. It should work.

why are you using logmein instead of RDP? I find RDP much faster
