Scrapebox, failed 5976 - success 54! WTF!?

okay so am I doing something wrong with scrapebox, only 54 successful posts and 5976 failed?? could it be because the proxies aren't that good?? help thanx!

its how you use it dont blame the software. its not auto you have to find blogs. i think sharing list is just like shooting yourself in the foot. thats making success rates lower abusing the blog list.

Could you state your internet speed, whether you were using private proxies AND if you scraped the list yourself or if its something you found on a forum post from 2008.

are they wordpress blogs? go test a few by hand the failed ones and see if they have spam prevention

What an odd response. He IS blaming himself, that is why he is asking for help, because he KNOWS this isn't normal results. It is most likely to do with your proxies, yes, and possibly the list you are posting on.

1) Open scrapebox, make sure "use proxies" is ticked, then click "manage".
2) Harvest new proxies using the provided sources, then click "ok".
3) Remove duplicate proxies.
4) Run the test proxies, and remove all failed. Run again and remove all failed.
5) Remove High Latency anything over 4000MS.
6) Harvest new wordpress blogs using any keyword. Remove duplicate domains.
7) Post and check your results.

Yes ,u might forget to check all entry with Blog analyser tool

I can do 50 k backlinks day on dedicated (we are many) with Scrapebox proxy

wich is mean more than 2 million srcaped entry (not analysed)

there is many thread about it

I think I found out the problem, my scrapebox seems to timeout after a certain amount of time like after 5 minutes are so and I always have to re-start it again in order to harvest or post or do anything. Is it something in my settings?? btw thanx for all your help guys. I appreciate it!

I changed around a couple of settings and everything seems to be working fine now... posts aren't failing much anymore!

my max connections were too high for me. It was at 50 connections, I changed the connections to 30 and seems to be working better for me.

Yeah those settings make a big difference if you have a slow internet connection. Also if you are using Windows XP you need to look into half open IP packets. Microsoft set the cap really low (like 100) where it would cause problems with all the open rejects that SB puts out. You can increase it to 10,000+ and can then run more threads.

Hey. check your proxies. That is one of the likely reasons.

Even more important then proxies are your connection and timeout settings.
A high number of connections and a low timeout is generally an important cause as to why you are getting such a large number of fails.

After youve got your sweet spot for those, get some private proxies to smooth things out even further.

Based on loopline's tutorials and my tests these helped me:
- raise the timeout settings
- lower the connections ( proxies/5=20% )
- filter out high latency proxies
- check the urls does they exist? - i tried on a list what i have downloaded and 60% of the urls weren't even existed -
- i also set the delay to 1 later to 2 (it helped or it was just an accident .. i dunno but there were more successful)
- give scrapebox high priority in task manager
- rewrite these in scrapebox ini :
Threads=300
ProxyHarvester=200
I only found just one of them.
- use fast commenter balancing
- check for malware ( helped me on freezes )

i think that was all ... 20-50% successful comments with fresh public proxies not only from sb proxy sources ...
