my autoblogs being blocked/banned from articlesbase?

Hello all,

I have a batch of 20 autoblogs that have been humming along really well. But it now appears that they have all stopped posting articles via wordpress robot.

Any ideas?

One of my developers was setting up a new site for me and got this error message from wp robot I assume...

"cURL Error Number 7: couldn't connect to host"

He said this can occur if articlebase BLOCK/BAN your HOST-IP or THE DOMAIN...

Is that possible?

Any ideas/suggestions much appreciated!!!

I finally found this thread with some answers...

Looks like it might actually be a hostgator issue. they say I must manually request them to activate "cURL" for each new site. what a pain.

but hopefully this does the trick!

Yea, looks like that is the next thing to test...

Just found out i can buy a dedicated ip for only $2/mo extra since I have a reseller account with hostgator. gonna give it a try.

Any other suggestions out there?

I don't think autoblogging is viable anymore.

Your proxies will eventually get banned anyway, so what's the point?

You'd have to *manually* update your banned proxies with new proxies.

But then that just defeats the entire purpose of *auto*blogging.

Not so auto now...
