Offline Marketing at 7-Eleven Store...

My friend has a 7-Eleven (convenience store for those who don't know) and she said I can put some business cards there.

Should I promote affordable web design services ($199 + hosting)? CPA offers? Start-your-own-online-business offers?

Any suggestions? Do any of you have experience with marketing randomly in a high traffic store like 7-Eleven?

Find out the demographics, for instance if your
town has a lot of senior citizens, then maybe a
life insurance cpa offer would be ideal.

I'm not certain web design would work. At least 10% of those that come in should have a use for your product.

You can promote Match.com or some of the Affiliate dating services during their Browse Free months or Netflix.

I just checked the Netflix affiliate page and it seems that you can't promote it offline? Maybe I'm misreading. I emailed them so we'll see what they say.

I would place flyer's at the checkout that say something like:

'How About Getting Your Groceries At No Cost'
"Look at your groceries, now look at your receipt, now back to me. How about getting your groceries for free every month?
Let's say that you spend $500 per month on groceries, what if you could keep that $500 in your pocket and perhaps pay some credit card bills instead?
Or you could just keep it in your pocket, just don't spend it on groceries anymore!"

and then proceed to market a tutoring program that teaches them how to make $500/month on fiverr that they could use for grocery money.

I like free stuff offered via email and zip submits.. Have a page that lists a bunch of free stuff, make a flyer or business card that says, "free stuff found only on the internet, go to www.yourdomain.com and see what you can get for FREE!". Free always gets peoples attention, even if they have money.

I work at a Phillips 66 and i started to do a bit of work with the customers. Promoting starting your own internet business is great idea but i would word it more like work from home. or promote free cigarettes some how. What i do is the build a website you have to target the people who own there own buisness mostly so working there and getting to know the customers helps with that

This is assuming that the prospect already has an internet business to grow, the changes are slim.

I would create a test in which I would send them to a Fiverr gig that sells a simple PLR product on making money (small amounts). Don't do any online promotion for that gig, only that 7-11 thingy.
See what happens, if you get people to your gig and purchase it.

Two mechanics are working here.
1) You have set the bar low with a small $5 fee.
2) You are sending them to a trusted, well-known, authority site.

That is what I would do to test the concept of 7-11 marketing.
