Better yet, use the software called Muvee. You can make videos that look better than Animoto. You can find it on torrent.

Ya Animoto is the shit, but I think the non branded service is $99 every three months unless it has changed recently.

so once I saw how easy Animoto was and what the finished product came out as - I just thought it was a good deal.

Anyway it's something to look at - if you are into video making.

Just checked it. It is $249 per year for the pro or $39 per month. The lite version is $30 per year or $5 per month. Pro is the way to go so you don't have the credits at the end. They also have unlimited 480 and 720p videos, as well as over 1000 licensed songs.

Just a quick question, as a promotional video producer, why do you feel that you get ripped off if people produce videos for you? There are many fascinating things that a video guy can do with a custom video that software just can't do. Also, even with Animoto, Powerpoint, and other slideshare productions, there still is a considerable amount of time invested in making the video just right.

I'm curious, have you been overcharged in the past or do you feel that paying for a service that can be "self-service" is a rip off?

In the past here on BHW Ive had people ask me to pay them for their services in video creation

and all they were doing was using software exactly like animoto

why would I pay them $5 a video for doing something that takes 1-2 minutes and then its ready to upload to Youtube

that's the equivalent to paying $150 an hour

at those prices Ill pay the $30 and do it myself.
