Phail.me (Good domain?)

I'm going to be purchasing the domain Phail.me from a friend, he says it has the potential to go viral if done right, I was planning on maiking it like failblog since I enjoy their site so much, or a site where users can upload their funny pictures of test grades, hence the name "Phail.me"

What do you guys think?

Any ideas on what I should do with it?

If you can invest in hosting which allows image hosting sites and find a good simple image hosting script with watermarking enabled, pay $100 to $200 for someone here to customize the look of the site then you can make a decently viral site. If you are serious about big bucks, that is the route I would take.

And for making money just throw some CPA banner at the top of every page or something.

I'm quite new to web development, but I'd want to develop a little bit of it such as the graphics and whatnot, I'll be on the lookout for good developers here!

How much do you think I could pull in if I had anywhere near the same traffic as failblog?

I think that it's basically a good domain name but you'll notice that some people are having a hard time remembering the domain extension.. For example my girlfriend has never heard about .me or .info domains before and she usually just tries .com and .net if she doesn't remember the correct name of the domain.

.Me is a great domain when you have something like this:

about.me
kiss.me
meet.me
hit.me
etc.

Domains above are meaningful and people easily remember them but I think that many of your visitors try phail.com or phail.net when they don't remember that your site's extension is .me..

Anyway, good luck with your site! I'm sure it will be just fine if you invest some hard work on it and of course some money
