Creating custom FB fanpages using Wordpress

Hi everyone, I've got something to share with you!

I heard several people complaining that creating custom FB landingpages has become more time consuming after FB stopped supporting FBML. Well, I created a WP theme to make my life easier, and decided to share it (for free) with the rest of the world!

It's a matter of installing this theme and you can start making your custom landingpages. I even included a fanpage-feature so that you can show different content to fans and non-fans!

However, I don't want to be a "Spammer" or anything, so before I would post the URL I would like to ask: am I allowed to post my URL?

I think its like this, if its free stuff then you can but if you want to sell something then you need to have approved BST thread.

If it is free then post it up, if you want to charge for it then it needs to be approved by the moderator/admin team as stated in an earlier post.

For now, the plan is to sit this one out and see how many people download it. If it turns out there's a huge demand, I will create a premium product. If not, I will just leave it online to download for free

I'm not sure what you consider a "huge demand", but i bet ya, you'll get at least 50k=100k downloads.

I would definitely consider 50-100k downloads a "huge demand" However, the "trick" is to get it out to the masses.. So far it's not even at 100 downloads.

Yup i would have to agree with you.I have been developing Custom Fanpage for ages since FBML era and now i move on to WordPress Fanpage.

Not only you can do LP but you can also create Mini Website ot Blog with it. I have been promoting this offline and i can tell you one thing - You Can Make Money with it.

The only "frustrating" thing I can see about your WP theme is that we have to choose between the wordpress blog, and the fanpage, we cant have both running on the web (or i missed something).

Yes, in the current version that's still the case.. However, I'm planning to do a major update once I have 1000 likes or downloads (whichever comes first), so if you want an update... You know what you've got to do! ;-)

So far it's been downloaded a little bit more than 1.000 times.. Although this is good, I still think the potential is bigger than this. Does any of you gurus have any thoughts on where to put the word out to make it go REAL big?
