One of my sites got hacked and it just says:

bY AHT

what do I do? And how do you guys prevent that and how is it even possible for them to hack sites? Please advise. Thank you!

a bit more info?

were you using a cms (wordpress)?
shared hosting or dedicated?
if shared, have you asked your host for logs?

Is that your site using nulled theme or nulled plugin?

no I'm using joomla, and host at hostgator, how why is possible for someone to hack my site?

Many possibilities, you have a weak password, used the same password on another site, installed a bad script or "nulled" version of something with bad code in it, the box you're on is rooted, etc. The possibilities are endless.

AHT is "Albian hacker team", they generally look for the same holes and keep score of how many sites they have compared to other groups.

well it's not very hard to hack into linux especially if your site is just using the super standard "xxxx.com/cpanel" as its main access.

If the hacker has a lot of server, he can easily gain access into your cpanel within few weeks

Dude, "Not very hard" and "a few weeks" can't go together in the same sentence :)

jomla has a lot of bugs...next time use some security plugins and be sure to update ur jomla version every time it s possible.

Can you descripbe what OS are you using, did you succeed to check from where access was granted ? FTP ? OS exploit, ..?
