The good side is : I made some good money with methods and knowledge in here also I made friends and business partners
The down side is : I am on here right now instead of studying for my final exams
 
Great thread.

BHW has def. changed my life for the better. I always knew I would be rich (if not wealthy) I just never knew how. BHW has been one of the sources that has revealed to me the "how"... Now its just time for me to put in the effort.

BH has changed my life as well. I run a small ecommerce site which I was able to elevate to $10,000 in profit sales per year after utilizing FB/Twitter marketing software. Small, I know... but still got me motivating. I am now diversifying onto SEO content sites and maintain a GreyHat. =)
 
there are many forums, but none of them have the bhw community. i dont know how they did it, but you (i think) feel like your part of something.
 
I wouldn't say it has changed my life, but I will say it has given me some hope for changing it like no other website or resource has. The level of people that are willing to share ways to make money with others is unmatched anywhere else. That alone is a change from anything else I've ever seen.

I'm not in any single niche exclusively. Some of my sites are in various sects of the medical, self-help, IM niches.

As a result of a painstaking testing process, I have developed an SEO method that annihilates the competition--notwithstanding the amount or level of competition for that particular keyword.

I target very popular, profitable, high-volume keywords such as: how to lose weight fast. I rank my site and watch the cash roll in. I am looking to diversify my online portfolio, so I am currently learning and researching other methods.

If any of you need inspiration or some motivation try doing work in a different location. Sometimes I'll take a flight from Northern California to Southern California and go to Disneyland and ride Space Mountain a few times--then go back to my favorite spot: Disney's Grand Californian Hotel where I work for over 12 hours straight without stoping for even a second (not even for eating/drinking). After that I'll be really hungry, thirsty, etc. so I order in, buy a movie, and crash. I always have the most productive work session when I do this.

BTW: I am so grateful for what I have that I always go down to the Howard Johnson, which is a really cheap place to stay and where a lot of families who barely had enough money to go to Disneyland stay--I walk in and find a family with kids, pull the father aside privately, and ask him how many nights they are staying, and buy them that many nights at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel instead over the phone.

Once you guys strike it rich, do things for others who aren't as fortunate every once in a while. Trust me, it's worth it.

I like BHW better when I could post links. My stats got screwed up and I haven't posted links for like a year and a half. post count 29 and growing lol.
 
I have been a member since October 2010, but more actively since early this year. And it's in the process of changing my life. It really is.

I have spent the last few months reading, reading and more reading. Trying to learn as much as I can and now I'm in the process of applying some of the methods, which I hope will do well. If not, then continue twisting them...

But yes, I agree that BHW has been 100000x better than other paid courses I have purchased. And the members that participate here make this possible.

So my goal is to also contribute more to the wealth of knowledge found in here.

BHW is the best!!

Congrats Devious. I'm much older than you and apparently not as smart. I hope to one day have your kind of success.
 
Back in the day, i was happy, made about 50k/year and i wasn't rich but i survived and was happy. It all ended 3 or 4 years ago and things got progressively worse for me till my lowest point about 2 years ago. About a year and a half ago, before I started really reading BHW I was happy to have 8 bucks in my pocket for the week so I could buy smokes for the week and a few snacks. I almost gave up on everything and i was dying on the inside. I couldn't get hired for jobs I wouldn't even be applying to when i was half my age. Had no real reliable transportation, about to lose my apartment, all my stuff was old and cruddy and used. It was embarrassing because I was always the person who had everything together, had all the answers, but my luck was over. I was depressed, sometimes I'd have strange thoughts of robbing a liquour store or gas station and i would break down and cry a sometimes. The only crappy jobs i could get were from people who wanted to exploit me at 6 or 7 dollars per hour, and I was happy to even have that opportunity. I had no answers and felt hopeless.

A year and a half later, I have a thriving source of income which will only get much better and all my dreams are coming true, or about to. I have almost 10 employees and a nice office, can buy mostly anything I've ever wanted in life. I don't say this to beat my chest, not at all. Material things never mattered to me, but being secure in life did. I owe it all to BHW community and the people who took the extra time to help me out. Also, reading as much as you can, taking what is relevant to your situation or goal and applying it.

The best advice i can give anyone who wants to give this a shot is to have a plan before you get started, before you start buying programs and domains, read this forum till your eyes bleed or until you have your plan of action figured out. Magically finding a good long term method on here is not easy because not many people are going to spoon feed to you how they make real money.

Once you know what you want to do, read this forum for as long as it takes, even a month straight figuring out the best way to implement this plan. Write your notes, bookmark all your useful links and tools and download links to programs that can help you in the member download section, make your outlines, make your projections, budget how much it will cost. When your plan is done, stop reading and do it. No more reading, ok, maybe read for 30 minutes per day at most :).

Take a part time job anywhere making anything just to support yourself for 3 or 4 months just so you can eat and buy some programs and tools you will need. Learn how to do things fast, cheap, good and efficient. Learn how to research, how to type fast, how to diversify sources of income, how to surround yourself with good people who aren't gonna drag you down. That's about it.
