went from ranking #5 to nowhere

So my site has been ranking on page 1 for about 3 weeks for 2 keywords. For the past week, I have been ranked at position 5 for both keywords. I did some link building about 2 days ago, about 300 links a mixture of forums and pligg sites with pr 2 and up. Yesterday I created rss feeds from all links and ran these thru scrapebox auto approve blog list, submitted to rss feed listings and bookmarked. I go to check my site today and now I'm ranking on page 35 for my home page for the main keyword, but a previous page of the site that was ranking position 39 is still the same. For the 2nd keyword my main site is now ranking on page 35 also. Is this the google dance or something else.? I checked webmaster tools and see no message about errors or penalties. When I was link building I used my main keyword and second keyword as anchors.

I really don't understand why people RSS, Bookmarked, and re-blast stuff.

Just ping it once if you want to. If google doesn't pick up all the links then the rest were shit anyway.

This plus u shouldn't worry about your ranking, if you do things right it just comes with time. Do more work less worrying

thx for all the replies, I just freaked becuz the site has steadily been moving up in rank and I have been steadily building links daily but haven't blasted more than 100 links per day and usually just backlink those backlinks and move on. So I thought maybe I screwed up when I blasted a bit over 300 decent PR sites and built backlinks to those. Plus, I have never blasted my site with scrapebox directly for this exact reason

hopefully u see some improvements also, I do a combination of manual and auto link building using scrapebox (only for indexing backlinks) and sickbuilder of forum profiles and pligg sites etc. Also I did a AMR blast to my site weeks ago and it went from page 3 to page 1 within a few days after that and been there since.

if you mean top 5 has it got the price for your 300 backlinks or is it in the same position as before? Why i ask is you said you were ranking on 5th position before 300 links.

My SERP is dropped from top 5 to nowhere and now my site comes back in top 5 (3rd - 5th position).

Drop ranking - just keep building high quality backlinks!

I make some backlink from high PR pages (pages not domain). I mixed anchor text and non-anchor text links. Do it now and tomorrow you will see you sites come back stronger (My experience)

Hint: Guestbook is a huge resource to find super high quality backlink
