Be a Guest Poster on My PR6 Blog

@enderz, how did you manage to get so many writers? I assume you're not paying them, so how did you go about getting them to write on the blog?

Read the above posts - people love the idea, its a win win model for us all.

But you can read about the whole concept at my site in this page:
top-100-writers (things will get simpler when I'll be able to post here links... hard being a newbie at some forums ;) )

All as OP stated - PR6 Much happiness! - everyone seems to have lost their 'thanks' button, but mine works! :)

I get that, but how did you get so many people to come to the site and become writers? Did you invite your friends? Do some sort of FB promotion? Social media?

Well, I know the internet very well and whether you (OP) are aware of this or not:

That is a domain that dropped earlier this year and was online since 2004. It has lost most of its value yet still displays old status.
That aside; the domain is one year old and has less than 100 backlinks.
Not that quantity is the key to success, but a website cannot build a PR6 status within a year and so with little to no backlinks.

With the above being mentioned and the fact that there are thousands of dropped domains PR scams out there, I can assure that this domain has a fake pagerank (Not necessarily the owner/op's fault) and will lose its pagerank soon.
We cannot verify this now since it is updated in google's cache.

Once again.. The OP didn't necessarily know this and I may be wrong.. After all.

Good to see some posts with a good talking point /)

Interesting concept. I have contacted you via the contact form on your site.

Just signed up on your site to write...let me know when we can get started...:)

By doing the exact same thing that he is doing here. I noticed him posting the exact same thing on some other forums.

I actually did one of these years ago. had a custome WP theme made and people could register via WP and then have permission to post blog posts. I had AdSense to make my money off of it. It was pretty popular, I sold it maybe 2-3 years ago for a little chunk.

Sorry guys, it seems that the site is down (damn I thought dreamhost were up to this task).

Anyway I'll be moving it to a VPS on a different hosting, so I guess its going to get a bit bumpy for the next 48 hours...

When it sounds too good to be true...

I was really interested but then I checked the backlinks and realized there is no way that domain has real PR6. Maybe it had PR6 when the google toolbar PR got updated last time but now it is a PR1 at best. 100 links or so and all are low PR links.

Still, as long as the domain is not penalized by Google it is a decent guest post target for IP diversity. If it were a real PR6 I would have posted over 100 posts over next year, but like this, maybe I post 1 or 2.

No harm intended but people have to know what they really get.

Damn, why don't you check PROPERLY before writing something like that. Well, I'd do it through PM, but since there was another guy here posting unchecked stuff and PMing him didn't help preventing your post , I'll do it public to prevent it from happening again...

PR - well, do check again, but according to yahoo there are more than 350 backlinks (actually there are more), see attached pic.

Now, please do an export of the backlinks (TSV on the right side) and run them through scrapebox PR checker (Yes, do a check by url and not by domain), then sort by PR... Whow... can it be? multiple PR6 pages (not to mention PR5/4/3/etc) linking to the blog?? Can it be that they are all natural links??

Btw, I'm sure you are going to check it with private proxies so you won't miss a thing and get to many N/A/-- results...

Check the PR with any fake PR checker, check the backlinks, and you will see the PR is real, and it is not too good to be true, its true.

Please, before throwing here accusations, check things properly!

A different matter - the hosting migrating has finished, all should work properly now.

That's a great idea that you have there, good luck with your site.

Thanks!!

Btw, ranking mechanism started working, you can check out the basic logic of it in the blog ( there is a post where I describe the algo fundamentals, I don't reveal everything though ;) ):

And when you enter a post you see the authors ranking and the posts ranking!
