KEYWORD QUESTION THREAD


In the last say 48 hours I have see about a dozen "Is this keyword good" Threads being started. Most of which are never answered because the OP doesn't provide essential information regarding the key term.

Well I would like to dedicate this thread to all those question, Please post your keyword related question here, and stop flooding the forum. I myself, and Im sure other knowledgeable member here on this forum will answer according, so long as you provide ample information regarding your keyword dilemmas.

Below is an example, and steps to achieving better answers for your questions.

First - Using Market Samurai, Traffic Travis, Serp Attacks, or alike post a screen shot of your keyword's competition analysis. Blurring or blacking out the keyword, and urls of the competition.

Second - In Google Type the Following and Give us the Result I will use the Keyword I used in the screen shot above as an example:

• "keyword" = 77,900
• inurl:"keyword" = 9,250
  
• intitle:"keyword" = 11,000
  
• inurl:"keyword" intitle:"keyword" = 2860

Third - With what ever tool you used to find the daily and or monthly search results, make sure you give us the EXACT monthly search result. For my keyword its 33,100

Fourth -(optional) Give us some information regarding the general niche, Like Health, Electronics, Gaming, Movies, and so on.

Mine is Weather Niche

Fifth - Let us know if you can get an exact mach domain to your key term, and if your keyword is 1 word, 2 words, 3 words, or more.

Mine for example: Yes I can get Exact Mach Domain, It is 2 words long.

Fifth 1a - Keyword History! Checking with g00gle trends and G00gle Insights about the history of the keyword is essential in determining if this is a long lasting search volume keyword, or if its just a fad. Mine for example:

Sixth - This is the most important step, Do you have a plan of action? How much experience do you have with Internet Marketing? and will you be using Adsence, CPA offers, Click back, Product Selling, and so on. Pretty much What is your goals for this site?


Follow this guideline and post your questions here, I can assure you, when people see you have taken the effort to research accordingly, and provide visual. More users will be happy to assist you.

There are a lot of aged domain with high pr in the list, but none of them are optimized, there are a few 0 pr as well, but the domain has lots of links, you should try for the exact match domain.

The above was just an example, and if i wanted to go for it, the exact match domain is available, this is just a guide for people who ask " is my keyword good" but post nothing for us to answer.

I think it is a good keyword if you are willing to do some work for it ( On site and offsite)
It is not that hard neither easy .
You can do it with the knowledge we have in here .

Lol it really is not that hard of a keyword in the example, but again it is an example, I do not need the advice, rather again this is a guideline on how to ask for keyword help... lol

I probably will be using this example for my personal use anyway, but just need to find time. way to many sites at the moment.

Are you fucking serious? Read it over again, before coming at me, you stupid bitch. I mean really are you that illiterate that you do not understand the post. It is for individuals who keep asking "is my keyword good" but do not post any kind of information regarding the keyword.


EDIT: I don't get it, there is nothing im asking posters to put that could put their " Keyword research" at risk, it is simply a little guideline to follow when asking for help regarding keywords. Why try an ruin something I believed would help?

Good post but you forgot one very important thing, keyword history. The most important step is looking at Google insight and making sure the keyword is a strong one, not just a recent trend that is going to sink in a month or two. Without this step, every other step is completely useless.

Yes, very true! As I mentioned in my previous post(other thread) G0ogle stopped showing search volume graph in keyword tool and Estimator so more chance to pick a "seasonal" keywords which is not worth if the search volume is high only for a particular period.
