What KW densitiy %?

I find that 2% is the common SEO keyword density. I use 2% in all my articles.

I see. Can you guys link me to a site where I can check my KW density?

I googled, but all of them did not have an option to put in my keyword to check the density for.

There's no need to check for the specific keyword, as it will show up. If you are using a numeric value in the keyword such as "10 best hosts," then be sure you set the option to YES for the numeric value.

BTW, I try not to go over 5%, preferably keep it between 2%-4%, closer to the low end.

Exact kw in title
exact kw in 1 st paragraph
exact kw once in each para
exact kw in concluding paragraph
2-3 alterations naturally whereever possible
More than enough.more than kw density concentrate on anchor text of your backlinks. hope that helps.

OK but this may be difficult for my kw.. my kw is 5 words: "how to blah blah blah". On average my articles are 2000 words long. To achieve 2% KW density, I'd have to insert "how to blah blah blah" FOURTY times. That's just can't be done without making my article sound retarded/straying away from the point. What do I do about this?

Wordtracker seo blogger has a feature to check keyword density. It's a firefox plugin. 2% is a good percent to aim for in my opinion, taking into account h1, h2, etc.

Make the article sound legit. Don't worry as much about the KW Density, unless you are just building a site around Adsense and could care less about what your articles says, and aren't worried about a Google employee possibly bringing up your site.

Go back through and see if any of your keywords are used after you have written the article, and then see if you can put the keyword in. KW Density is important, but then again, Google isn't stupid, and it's not as looked upon as it once was.

That being said, I can generally get my keyword density up to at least 2% per the site.

H1 , H2, H3 ? What happened to those ?

And to answer you question operator 2-4% should be fine .
and the tool , I don't know of any stand alone tool but SEOPressor and Clickbump SEO are both good plugins for this if you are planning on using wordpress.
Cheers
