Hell, mine worked earlier today!!! They have a bug report here - http://bugs.developers.facebook.net/show_bug.cgi?id=16102 ... Just pissed because I started promoting my page today and now I look like an ass to the few people that have visited it...f#$K!!!
No need to look like an ass...it is something NOT in your control.
Just explain it is an entire Facebook site issue NOT your cause.
Kind of like a big storm hits and the power goes out for two days.Not something you can control.
Probably a good idea to explain UPFRONT that outages occur, just like when hosts sometime have issues. None promise 100% uptime,at least they don't with a straight face.
I know you said said those that visited, but if the whole FB site is wonky...well crap happens, eh?
Just last week in our bldg some genius, F'd up the plumbing trying to save money on a dishwasher install by having his retired plumber ass friend do the work...well he ended up losing water to the entire bldg for 24 hours. Like Jackass the movie I wanted to shove his butt off a cliff in a shopping cart, probably with a big Jumb box of firecrackers strapped to his butt too. "Retired"? more like Fired for being an nincompoop.
