Paypal account got locked.

Alright, a week ago my paypal account got limited with $2,000 in it.
I stayed cool, and just verified all the data etc. And just waited for them to verify.

After a few days I didn't got any response, so I gave them a call and they said they would fix it ASAP.

A hour later, I sign in again and I got the message that my paypal account got limited, and that I couldn't appeal against it anymore!
I freaked out, and gave them a call; they said they didn't know why it was on that state and that they would look more into it, BUT that they couldn't revert the steps taken..

No contact for a few days, didn't check my paypal because nothing speical happened or something.
Today, I tried to sign in again; and I got the message:
"Your paypal account has been locked, please use the contact button found at the bottom of all pages"

I freaked out because I had $2,000 in that account and they just LOCKED it ?!
I can't even sign in anymore, all I get is that message. I can't see how much money is on the account; NOTHING!

I gave them a call and they said the funds would be released in 180 days, but I don't see why I can't login at ALL anymore!

I don't think that I will get my money back.


I now use PLIMUS to sell my software, but they take 20% VAT and 10% for their own pocket.

Does anyone know how I can use paypal again? Because allot of company's only take paypal... And I need to buy domains, hosting, and other stuff!
What would be the best way to keep using paypal?

I use Plimus now for this very reason. You can also get the report, called ebay and paypal stealth, and follow these steps religiously to use new paypal accounts; its a real pain though.

Anyways, if you have legit info in your account after 180 days you can login and withdraw. Either to the bank account linked to your paypal or to a check to the name and address on your account, that is actually real.

i told everyone before, it's a game ...paypal locks your accounts for 180 days and keeps the money in a interest bearing account they might make 5k off your 2000 then give u back your 2k there left with 3k free money, think about all the accounts they lock monthly with money in them and make interest off the money just sitting in a interest bearing account. No. Your only options are to get it in a check in the name on the account or to a link bank account thats already on there.

A little hint, they cannot validate the name on your bank account. So when you start a paypal with a fake new open a bank account and give PayPal legit bank account info but a fake name and then after 180 days if you do get banned you can still withdraw to the linked account.

Basically if you used a fake name you're pretty screwed unless you can find someone who has a bank that will let you sign it over to them without being there in person/showing ID. This would work as the money is good and obviously you wont complain, but many banks no longer do this I think just the little local guys still do and with a check from out of state they may not either.

immediately after finding that your PayPal account get suspended you need to immediately call the customer care with all the documents/proofs ready with you. Do not dependent upon the e-mail communication as I have myself experienced it.
