I was wondering what type of results others have achieved with AMR blasts AFTER the latest Google algorithm update.

In Feburary, before the update, I did a blast and ranked 1st page for multiple keywords. The ranking came within 24 hours and I was very happy about the swift rankings.

But after the update, I haven't ranked higher for any keyword on any other websites despite having more unique spins. Everything from the summary, to title, to even the main article was way more unique than the first blast I ever did.

I completed 2 blasts after the farmers update with no change in rankings.

I'm wondering if maybe Google hasn't yet counted my links towards the SERP? I have at least 5-10 articles indexed in backlinkwatch.com/YSE but still haven't seen any movement.

Am I jumping the gun too soon? It's been 1 week already since these blasts for 2 different websites.

Hopefully you guys can shed some light on some of the results you have attained after the latest update.

Thanks.

Backlinkwatch pulls from yahoo site explorer. Just because links show up there doesn't mean that googlebot has found them yet. What you SHOULD be looking for are links that are showing up in GOOGLE. ;) It's also important to keep in mind how much competition there is for the keyword is well- not only in the title, but also how many other websites have the exact anchortext for your keyword as well. It may have been that the initial kw you were ranking for with your first blast didn't have a lot of competition for title or anchor. Hope this helps. :)

I cannot speak for AMR specifically but Article Marketing in general is still working. My tests and feedback on my free article submission service here on BHW proves that :)

I thought backlinkwatch pulled from majestic seo site explorer now?

It's not a very competitive keyword and the first keyword I blasted was much more competitive.

The only plausible explanations are that the links have not been counted towards my rankings.... or people are seeing a diminishing effect from AMR.

This is why I wanted to know other people's results since the Google update.

i find article links to still be very effective. i noticed quite a bad drop in serps after googles update but am slowly getting my rankings back and im mostly do article backlinks

Yesterday i bought from James J Jones a report for $7 related to this, didn't read it yet but i'm sure it will answer a lot of questions! You may this out maybe the the price is still $7(special weekend promotion).

I did a AMR submit along with a few other links and I moved from page 13 to page 3 for the most competitive term in my niche. This was about 2 weeks ago.

Now google works longer. Sometimes it takes a month or so. Positions fallen are getting back butworth llooking for high pr links pr 2-3 is enough as a rule.
