, you can have more if you fill out a survey but after 5 or 6 attempts they never complete , for me anyway , so just open an account with another email address and grab another 2 .

In my opinion, this is a bad idea. Your domain is essentially at the mercy of someone else if you grab a co.cc domain. It's also far less credible.

I have to agree with brent. If you want to have long term business, then .co.cc should not be a choice for domain. In fact, blogspot will be better.

Of course, if you just want to try out, let's say a newbie want to learn how to make a website from scratch; free domain and free hosting might be ok for learning but eventually you have to move to paid hosting.

Back when I first started, I registered about 10 co.cc domains - I learned most of what I know about creating websites during those days. But it's a pain working on free domains and hosting. Sure for a newbie just starting out, it's an option worth considering.

something.co.cc is not a domain, it is a subdomain of co. Just like something.yahoo.com will not be a domain.

Bad for newbies since they will unknowingly be missing the seo advantage of having a real domain and may get discouraged for not seeing optimal results for their tests.

Let me tell you a big obvious little secret. I am not doing it for you but for anyone who might actually believe you and because this is not DP.

co.cc and the rest of the subdomain crap is only good for 2 things: url shortening and stealing link/pr juice. The latter flows from domain to domain. So if you really have a subdomain.co.cc and support it with backlinks, you are increasing the value of co.cc itself.

Now when I make a link to an actual domain from a subpage that is on co.cc, the goodness starts flowing to my domain. So yeah, by all means, keep optimizing your subdomain.

As one of you said, I just try & error ( learning to upload & create website).
Also didnt expect that this "test site" can give me site income.

Last update is Nov 2010 ( fresh article)....
Create some backlinks long time ago but not so much...
My intention is just want to learn & see the result....
