Last November I knew literally nothing about IM. Had never heard of SEO, backlinks, affiliate programs, html, nothing. But I knew people somehow made money on the internet.
So after a few weeks of hopelessly searching I found this forum (the day before my birthday too, so it was like an early present I guess?). Anyways after one month and countless nights of reading this forum I tried Autoblogs (like allot of beginners). It was overwhelming to start, but I learned so much from that failure that I could not have learned in the forum. 2011 - I decided to try Craigslist posting while still learning more about SEO and such. Multiple posting on Craigslist was a daunting overwhelming task, so I posted some ads on some smaller classified sites. I made 2 posts using my ugly long affiliate link thinking it probably won't work because it's not the big CL, but a few days later I got my first sale! I was going nuTZ. So I posted more ads, a around 2-3 a day, and more sales rolled in! I made 7 sales last month - 525$ - and still rollin! And only working 10-15 minutes a week at it!
It's just awesome, because the first sales make you realize it's possible. AND YOU FEEL LIKE A KING! So if someone like me can learn IM basics and make some money, anyone can. (I finally see what other people meant when they said that hahaha)
Anyways, a huge thank you to everyone on this forum, really, I've learned so much. And everyone in my town thinks I am so smart when I use words like "search engine optimization" and "backlinks" lol. They even want me to teach and IM course this summer hahaha.
(Starting some fresh micro niche sites, hopefully my new seo knowledge will work this time!!!!!!!)
