Hey guys,
I've got a 22k .org exact search domain (yes exact, I didn't forget to un-tick broad) but as i'm relatively new to this i'm not really sure if the competition is big or not, here's the stats below:

avg CPC $0.66
allinurl: 37,700
allintitle: 55,000

would love your guys opinions on how much SEO this would take to do, if this is large competition or not

I am working with a similar situation right now. My kw has 25 exact searches month and I own a EMD .org and I managed to get into top10 SERPS within a period of 14 days. IMHO go for it if you are sure about the monetization part...

Simas9, is it worth to target kw with only 25 exact searches per month? How many uv do you expect if you go no1 for such a kw?

25 searches? No, unless you forgot to add some zeros to the number :) I`d expect to get about 15 visitors per month with that kind of weak keyword.

I have recently ( 3 weeks ago ) made a 2 page site with an exact keyword search of just over 40k a month and a similar TT result as you have.

As you can see in your TT screenshot those sites have very poor SEO. Optimize your site with some unique articles ( atleast 2-3 to start with ) do some good onsite SEO and then get some backlinks. Make sure your articles/site is indexed before you do backlinking. Personally i'd suggest 100 random backlinks a week for 3-4 weeks for each article ,sit back for a week and see what your site does. ( i prefer wp backlinks and not forum profile backlinks ).

In my case my site ranked around 45 for main keyword after 2 weeks with only SEO and 0 backlinks, now i have 110 backlinks and rank number 10 and I expect to rank top 3 in 2-3 weeks.

Nice find, I would go for it, hopefully its a keyword with commercial intent?
