myspace advertising

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out what demographics to target, and narrowing it. Nice work on the conversion, I've had 1 click and no conversions. Any tips?

I would check out the site johnnypro recommended at

You can send me a pm regarding your campaign. Keep in mind that I'm trying to figure this out as well.

It's about time myspace did this.

Start promoting friend adders with their affiliate programs!

they wont approve it..

by the way this is some shitty traffic i swear.. im down like $100 AND i know what im doing.. i do well with yahoo & adwords but their traffic is shitty..

even targeting girls for free makeup shit converts 1:20

bleh

It's myspace and the people on there already click on tons of ads.. gotta use something that is shiny.

I have a perfect domain name which can be used to get hundreds of captcha entry workers who don't need to paid on a weekly or a monthly basis. I can provide you with guidance (if that's needed) regarding the software that can be used for this domain name to automate the myspace / hi5 / tagged / any social network friend adding and comment sending process.

Is there a reason you posted that here? When you also made a thread about it?

My ad has also not been approved yet, submitted it yesterday. I'm making ads for clickbank products targeted to customers that have specific demographics and expressed interests on their profiles. I'm using the minimum bid of 25 cents per click. Much lower than the adwords crap I've been running.

be patient, i've waited between 2-4 days for approval... but i've always gotten it. I emailed them and they apologized and said to just be patient that during the beta trial it's taking a little longer than they'd like.

Why cant myspace offer a bulleting posting service through toms account, so every myspace user will see it and it will avoid msplinks, I guess they will never offer this service but the traffic etc would be really big .

Has anyone had any success advertising on Myspace yet. I have run two different ad campains with no success at all. The ads I posted were very targeted. Maybe I just suck at this though - lol.

I think its easy to proceed with captchas for blackhat purposes, If you have trouble then dont worry, We are providing complete solution for myspace captchas, With softwares and remote captcha entry schemes

I dont think it would even matter if they DID do this Cool. I had 5000 friends on my myspace account and only two of them would have peed on my hair if it was on fire. And thats because one was an ex, and the other is a best friend. Myspace is like CL, too saturated. No one gives two $hit$ about anyone else, all they care about is themselves and getting their product out there. What they dont realize is more than half of the people on there, are thinking the same thing THEY are thinking.

You would be better off advertising somewhere less "busy" than Myspace. I know we think, wow myspace has a crap load of visitors, what a great place to advertise, but unless you really GET in with ALL the people on your list, or your selling something really fantastic, its a loss cause.. in my opinion anyway. Im sure there are a lot of other people on here that will disagree but thats because they have FOUND somehting on myspace that CAN catch peoples attention or lol they are doing somehting blackhat.

I dont think it would matter if the freaking pope got an account on myspace, and rented out his bulletin space to people, people still (probably) wouldnt give a care in the world, after all they are too busy trying to get their product, service, item, music, art, photography, poetry, sites, business, affiliate program, money generator, business op out there.

Meh. Thats not be being cynical. Thats me.. being real.istic. lol.

Yes true, i am thinking though its a numbers game on there, but a bulletin from tom would reach every single user on myspace, even if 10% of people actioned your offer that is alot of $$$$$ i would think,

It is about 2 years since i have done myspace so maybe i am well behind the times with how it works on there .

lol okay okay I know the whole last part of this thread was IF Tom would let us do that. And your right, if TOM the real human being who is the part owner of myspace let us use a service and use his myspace bulletins to advertise our crap, we would probably get good conversions

BUT!

He would have to act like the persons bulletin info was either his own or someone REALLY important to him. Those kids over there think hes a God. What would work more "Some strange dude told me to post this" or "My mom wanted me to post this YAY *throws hands up in a cheer*!"

Of course this is all hypothetical, but I think the mom trick would win.

Of course I love moms, they totally rock. So what the ef do I know.

* go moms! *

Lol yes i agree,

The bulletin would have to be written like he was endorsing the website/affliate link,

If myspace offered bulletin service from toms account i would pay $500 per bulletin sounds alot but the traffic would be great.

I think i'm gonna give this myspace advertising a try. I will have to be smart when choosing my niche cause .25/click can get kinda expensive really fast on myspace for me anyways.

This might be really good for cookie stuffing purposes. Seleect an ad for a product and only the people who are interested in it will click the banner. Once they click it have a cookie stuffed on your myspace for that product.
