Can I get a refund? I just paid for 20 US https proxies but can't access a single site. I've tried every single one.. most of them won't load a webpage, and the ones that do, take about 5 minutes to display a page from google saying too much traffic is coming from that address. The proxies are saturated, I can't do anything with them.

Hi,

There are many reasons for slow access. You can PM your yahoo or google IM - I will be able to give you the walk-through.

Also, I can offer Teamviewer assistance to look at the problem and go from there.

The most common problem is the geo-location that would affect the proxy speed. For instance, trying to access to USA proxies from outside of USA would require the tweaking of DNS server, faster browser, etc. to speed up the proxies.

Uhm, I just cancelled my subscription on PP so I don't get charged NEXT month, and now I don't have a proxy list at all? What's up with that? You're supposed to disable the account when my NEXT payment is due. I only paid yesterday.

Hi,

The cancellation from Paypal is automatically applied to the account. The reason is simple: To minimize/eliminate the fraudulent transactions. It was well-discussed in JrVP Zone regarding the paypal fraudulent issues.

Meanwhile, your account is manually added with the package.

Subscribed yesterday to help improve Scrapebox succes, have to say that you are better off using the standard harvester that comes with Scrapebox!

Out of 200 from proxylist 167 of them were dead!

Just tried it with a list of 26 UK proxies from them and 24 FAILED.

Complete waste of time and money.

As mentioned many times, please do not use Scrapebox proxy tester. There are many reasons for not getting the proxies to work.

Quick procedure for using worldwide http/https proxies for Scrapebox:

1) Please do not use Scrapebox Proxy tester. It is not 100% accurate, based on our internal tests.
2) Click Proxylist.co's Scrapebox Filter to filter the list.
3) Click on the "Last Checked" column to sort the list.
4) Click "Filter Proxies" button.
5) Click on Download IP : Port list (save the list to your computer)
6) Paste the list in Scrapebox proxy box, then start using it for scraping, harvesting and commenting.

In additional, did you follow the suggestions/tips as mentioned here?

I did just as you said and it's even worse. I just tried to check indexed pages in google using 20 simple pages.

Your proxy list gave 16 - 404 error and 4 - Done

It also took 6 minutes to check just 20 indexed pages which is WAY to slow to be of any use for anything.

I am in the UK if that helps you, but this service so far is extremely poor, I may as well use Scrapebox's own harvester it works much better.

And to compare, straight after I tried it with the first 20 proxies Scrapebox itself found and it completed the operation with no failures in 37 seconds.

I think I need a refund!

We just checked to ensure that Proxylist.co's Scrapebox proxy test engine is working as usual. I have tested it (I own two Scrapebox licenses) to be working well.

Based on your Proxylist.co account, you have 200 HTTP proxies, but it doesn't mean that there will be 200 Scrapebox proxies for each country or another selected filter.

For example, for United Kingdom there is only 4 up to date scrapebox checked proxies. So the main criteria for proxy is 'Last checked', that means this proxy is up to date. If you changed the filters/settings, the latency, or country, or something else can give old proxies, which will not work correctly.

As suggested earlier (which works very well for majority customers), please do not use other filters or settings other than Scrapebox filter when you plan to use it for Scrapebox.

Then, finally, do not use Scrapebox proxy tester. It is not accurate. I see you keep on testing the proxies using Scrapebox proxy tester, which is not recommended. Proxylist.co's own scrapebox proxy tester works pretty well.

i use portalwebs proxies with alot of software [mass prestige poster, xrumer, scrapebox, mega pinger] and they work perfect and are highly suggested for people needed public proxy lists!

scrapebox proxy checker FAILS many proxies that DO WORK. keep that in mind.
