How you Know where is a blog is hosted?

Anyone knows how to know an x blog is hosted?

For example johnchow.com where it is hosted? He mentioned that hostgator but don't think so.

It looks like it's located at softlayer, probably one of their resellers (Amazon ?).

use whois website or tool to check out the host. Unless they do purchase whois protection or not they won't run away with it.
